I just finished watching Maestro about the late Larry Levan and the start of the DJ culture. An interesting documentary. I was pleased to see David Mancuso recognized as one of the major influence on the NY underground dance music scene. Respect.

Intersting-ish but pretty ameteur-ish and lacking much in the way of decent footage of The Garage or the 70's generally.

I just recently heard about this DVD. It's on my Blockbuster list and ought to be arriving soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing it as I was a big fan of the Paradise Garage and a member in 1981.
