Can anyone identify this nice disco/synth pop song? The lyrics are "Don't try it....respect the things that I do....You Know I love you but you got to understand....". Here is a sample of a track that contains a sample of the original.

Its a female RnBish type vocal and sounds like its from the 70s or Early 80s. Anyone know?
