    Camp Classics!

    Part 23 ;)

We've already had mentioned (several times) of The Broads - Sing Sing Sing, but what about:

(And apologies if I'm repeating here, but fairly new to the boards)

Marsha Raven - I Like Plastic

Ramming Speed - When You Walk In The Room

Paul Lekakis - Boom Boom (Let's Go Back To Your Room)

all three had me leaving the dance floor and heading straight for the bar!

Let's not forget Meet My Friend by Eddie Huntington.

"Meet my friend, he knows every little trick
    Meet my friend called D*ck!"

    Oh, how gauche...

For truly high camp, do we all remember Ocho Rios by Paul Jabara?

I always got a kick out of that one!

    Cooing chicks everywhere!

    Fancy - Flames of love
'I die melting in your flames of love' - Oh per-leez!

Bronski Beat feat Eartha Kitt - Cha cha heels - No comment

Davicillo, you're so close but, obviously, NOT campy enough! :D

Here's the full spoken word segment from Flames Of Love:

I surrender to sweet death in your arms
In a wave of lust for life
    You touch me so deep
I cry out melting in flames of love

(and remember to pronounce "so" as "zo", hehehe...)

I'd actually never heard of The Broads but did track down a clip online of the Mega Be-Bop version of "Sing Sing Sing." It sounds like it was an instrumental medley of big band songs to a dance beat?

That's the one! The Mega Be-Bop Mix was the B side of the 12" in the UK...I love it SO much it's quite disturbing! (said in a Craig from Big Brother type way) :D

Actually, there wasn't much difference between the two, but there were more vocals on the A side, and the Be-Bop Mix was a bit more sparse sounding, if that makes sense...on the A Side the track went into proper swing band mode about a minute before the end....classic!!! :D

    Boney M - Young Free & Single

    &

    Fantastique - Mama Told Me

Both cheesey as hell, but good fun all the same.

That PAUL LEKAKIS track has to be one of the tackiest/cheesiest ever ! I have the PWL remix and it is even worse than the original mix - it has this awful female on it as well !!
