yes they were all fairly poor esp ramming Speed.
Part 23 ;)
We've already had mentioned (several times) of The Broads - Sing Sing Sing, but what about:
(And apologies if I'm repeating here, but fairly new to the boards)
Marsha Raven - I Like Plastic
Ramming Speed - When You Walk In The Room
Paul Lekakis - Boom Boom (Let's Go Back To Your Room)
all three had me leaving the dance floor and heading straight for the bar!
yes they were all fairly poor esp ramming Speed.
Let's not forget Meet My Friend by Eddie Huntington.
"Meet my friend, he knows every little trick
Meet my friend called D*ck!"
Oh, how gauche...
For truly high camp, do we all remember Ocho Rios by Paul Jabara?
I always got a kick out of that one!
How about: Lana Pellay - Pistol in My Pocket?
These are campier than camp;
Magnifique - Magnifique
Cooing chicks everywhere!
Fancy - Flames of love
'I die melting in your flames of love' - Oh per-leez!
Bronski Beat feat Eartha Kitt - Cha cha heels - No comment
Tres Camp!!!

Here's the full spoken word segment from Flames Of Love:
I surrender to sweet death in your arms
In a wave of lust for life
You touch me so deep
I cry out melting in flames of love
(and remember to pronounce "so" as "zo", hehehe...)
LOL. I'm glad I didn't get it spot on!! Hahaha
You must agree though euro, it is very camp!
AND WHAT IS WRONG WITH MENTIONING THE BROADS SEVERAL TIMES???!!! LOL! :D It is still my all time camp classic!
I'd actually never heard of The Broads but did track down a clip online of the Mega Be-Bop version of "Sing Sing Sing." It sounds like it was an instrumental medley of big band songs to a dance beat?
That's the one! The Mega Be-Bop Mix was the B side of the 12" in the UK...I love it SO much it's quite disturbing! (said in a Craig from Big Brother type way) :D
cool, thank you. was there a vocal version on the a side or was that instrumental too?
Actually, there wasn't much difference between the two, but there were more vocals on the A side, and the Be-Bop Mix was a bit more sparse sounding, if that makes sense...on the A Side the track went into proper swing band mode about a minute before the end....classic!!! :D
Lana Pellay? Forgotten about that one!!!
Boney M - Young Free & Single
&
Fantastique - Mama Told Me
Both cheesey as hell, but good fun all the same.
That PAUL LEKAKIS track has to be one of the tackiest/cheesiest ever ! I have the PWL remix and it is even worse than the original mix - it has this awful female on it as well !!Originally Written by marmite7
How on earth could I forget Sinitta!
Cruisin & Toyboy! Eeeek
"So Macho" was by far the worst thing she ever did!!!
TOYBOY was absolutely awful... :lol:Originally Written by marmite7
Anyone else recall M&H Band - Popcorn?
Huge gay club tune and massive in Ibiza back in 1988.
Cheesey instrumental fun and a galloping good larf ;)
Got the 12" in my collection. Found it a few years back - a true cheesy camp classic !!Originally Written by marmite7
I have the M & H Band version but theres almost as many versions of this as there is my way - even that flaming frog has covered it!Originally Written by marmite7
I'm so old I have the original by Hot Butter!!!
Good 'Swemix' version though. And to Phrankie 'Gasp'!![]()
The Immortals " ultimate warlord, thats camp!
