| I certainly hope that the crazy radicals that are all over the United States don't do what I expect. To pull a Lee Harvey Oswald on Barack Obama. I seriously fear for his life. The shit would certainly hit the fan then? |

| For me personally NO, but that's no secret. I fear that Barack is too young and unexperienced for the job. He's talking a lot about change but, first, he will have a lot of trouble fighting the powers that be when he wants to achieve that change and second, I don't trust Hilary Clinton but that's just my 2 cents and you don't have to worry because I can't vote Then, I second Pete, Barack's wife and a lot of people who fear that Obama is in danger. He knows it and we all know it. Then2, don't forget that when election time is there, you gonna have a second battlefield, a very dangerous and unpredictable one and that could change a lot of things and opinions. |

The inexperience ....I feel is a good thing. Maybe the guy hasn't been around long enough to be totally tarnished . I hope. But I'm not sure that certain people that voted for Hillary in these primaries ....you know Milburn, those dreadful hillbillies .... weren't so much voting for either as much as they were voting against the other. I'm not convinced Hilary's good showing toward the end had much to do with a new found love for her. A combination of the two might be a total disaster . Now the crowd that could never vote for a woman/a Clinton is coupled with the crowd that could never vote for a black ... much less a new subgroup that could never vote for them in unison. Still on the other hand, this is a crazy year .....we actually did it ...took a black candidate to the top. So what the heck, why not make this the year where all things are possible and put Obama and Clinton on the same ticket. Wow. ***** for the Republicans to catch up with the times and seem relevant ....maybe McCain could find a young , black , lesbian, Clinton relative to be his running mate ...

| Yep, an African-American and a woman: that's already a big change and it's a good thing, don't get me wrong. And about the inexperience: don't get me wrong either. I'm not saying that Barack is not capable or mature enough, I'm more thinking about his networking, his connections. Big corporations, captains of industry: can he change their way of viewing things????? Barack/Clinton can be a dream ticket but, like you say, it can also become a big failure when the votes come in. |

| Well, I'm half way to be proven wrong. I'm about to eat crow. Guess what, I'm dying to eat it By the way, I'm talking about a Black or mixed race person elected for President. To your question remicks, HELL NO! Hillary is a pure bitch! I would never trust that "assassinating" talk bitch! If he takes her my respect for him will goes WAY down!

we admire him for swallowing hard , extending a hand to get her on board and doing what seems best as a strategy to make sure John McCain doesn't wind up our next President . A lot of women thought this was going to be their turn to rise and shine and since women make up the majority of voters... ,,,, TheVotemaster has a great read today . Here is much of it. I highlighted the part that pertains to this topic. he doesn't even mention the VP position as one of her options !! (??) Quote:

| Today in our press: Jimmy Carter calls the tandem Obama/Clinton the worst possible ticket. He fears that too much people don't like Clinton and fear that the over-all negative campaign support of Bill Clinton will do further harm. Names now circulating for the ticket are Obama/governor Bill Richardson, John Edwards, senator Claire McCaskill or governor Kathleen Sebelius. So far the news update from Euro-press. |

| ***** I've been giving this Hillary as VEEP idea a little more thought . Hillary on the ticket might be a good thing for Obama, but is it a good thing for her?? Sure the excitement of the campaign itself is there , the sense of accomplishment if successful . The victory . But then what? Stand around and be the Vice President for four ... maybe eight years? We all know that the VP job doesn't offer much except in the rare situation where the president is a complete idiot and depends on the vice president as with Bush/Cheney.... but that won't be the case with Obama . He'll want her to respectfully back off... this will then be his show to run alone. She could be much more productive in several other roles as the Votemaster outlined above. Maybe this will sort of be like getting a monkey off her back and she can return to Congress and become a much more stellar , a more accomplished senator as happened with Ted Kennedy.... especially with Barack as president to support her and the Dems owning control of both houses....and there being a Ted Kennedy void to fill. ******
