I can't follow this discussion anymore. Am I the European pinhead? I'm attacking the fundamentalist guest. I'm not religious you know and I just can't stand people who are judging other people in the name of a religion. That was my point. If suddenly I'm the bad guy now, so be it.

But I really get a little sick of all these guest-postings. Who is who?

Videoskooter,

No, I posted something about who the "guest" is ...then changed my mind...and now, apparently you cannot "delete" a post---WHY??????....so I had to leave something in the text of the message...so that's what is left.

Sorry....I have no problem with you!!!!! You make good sense to me!!!! :D

You see Marky, all this guest-stuff is getting confusing. I can understand that Bernie is attracting new members but discussions are hard to follow this way.

Thx for the reply BTW. I'll stop crying now :D

Hey! What's wrong with testing out the site as a guest? I'm doing it and I liked what I saw until I came across these messages putting down the pope and found several members with a serious attitude problem.

Just like the guest who left a message on a previous page, I have to say that I like disco music but not to the point where I am going to put up with this non-sense. In my case it is not a matter of faith, it is just a matter of not being interested in dealing with all this crap. I got enough of it at work!

The subject is the pope and yet someone expects no mud to fly. Amazing. Can I be the European pinhead, not capable of understanding American family values derived from ancient European dogmas, preached but certainly not understood by by George W. Bush, "the Leader of the Free World"? - But please, could I be THE Pinhead of Clive Barker's "Hellraiser"? :" I have such sights to show you..."

Yes, your remarks and characterizations of the pope are offensive. What does W have to do with this? Or is this more vitriol from a european pinhead?

Hmmmm....just around the same time it appears "It" has returned to the boards, we have this troll-bait thread posted by a "Guest". Once the vitriol the thread would obviously create begins, the "Guest" stirs the pot some more, flaring tempers further.

Anyone care to guess that "It" and "Guest" are one and the same?

Glad to be of any offence to anyone bowing down to figures representing institutions that cause massive pain in people needing sympathy, medical help and understanding. Unwed mothers in undeveloped countries about to be stoned to death for their "crimes", aids sufferers worldwide, teenagers needing guidance in sex, what did the holy one do do about that? Nothing, apart from stomping harder on those in distress. This pope who bit the dust was known of being especially harsh towards those he did not share his beliefs with - some christian, huh? In fact, he caused countless deaths with his bigotry. A real holy monster, really, the Pope. And as for the W, I just saw him on tv, saluting the corpse of the saintly figure, putting on a good American show and looking even more than usual like the quite illiterate but otherwise well behaving little monkey he is. - But hey, enough of this merde here. They're electing another pope, the good Believers...

Living above the arctic circle has affected your brain. Jussik, all of that cold just freezes the shit in your body until it expands, plugs you up and escapes out of your mouth.

And the Russians invaded finland in 1939! What were they hoping to gain? Are you a Soviet Collaborator?

The good thing is that not many fins (fin = fish apendage) have managed to find their way to North America and pollute us here, so we don't have to suffer pinheads like you.

I have no doubts. Really, there can't be many people with a determined mission to promote Christian theocracy on a forum intended for discussing disco.

Whenever anyone dies (royalty, former politicians, minor musicians) there is always a rush to suddenly make out how wonderful they were. Does Ronald Reagan ring any bells??

All this self righteous poo-pooing about what a "great man" the pope was should be taken with the same pinch of salt as when they told us Reagan was the bestest, most popular, loveliest man in the whole wide world.

Among the popes varied hobbies were expelling and attacking those in the developed world who acted on the supposed "belief" christians occassionally claim to have that poverty and oppression are unacceptable. The pope was always keen to see that the Church was not acting in any kind of progressive manner.

We are told that the pope unheld "family values" but whose families values were they exactly? My families values aren't based on hatred and fear of people who are different from us. Our families values are ignorance, intolerance and hatred. Putting women last and condoning homophobia and therefore homophic violence aren't family values, they are no values at all.

However, the biggest lie we have heard is that the pope somehow cared about the "developing world." People who are offended by "deviant behaviour" seem to overlook the deviance involved in condemning half the planet to death. The initial response to the AIDS epidemic was coloured with the usual heady mix of racism and homophobia and as a result millions have died and continue to die. The Catholic Church are directly responsible for these deaths and should apologise for the lies and hatred they have spread surrounding AIDS and sexual health issues.

What people choose to believe is their business. I do not engage in sectarianism but I do not fudge my opinions to keep people happy either. It is disrespectful to the dead to give them praise in death you wouldn't have given them in life. Those who value freedom would be better being honest instead of crying crocodile tears for a person whose legacy is questionable at best.

Nothing at all, my friend! But when several "guests" are posting and they don't have a name, then it is extremely difficult to respond or to have a discussion with them. That's the problem we are facing now. Why don't people register? It's free, it only takes a few minutes and if you don't like the site or the fellow members, you just don't post anymore. There's really no danger or trick involved.

So, DO join this community and experience the facts and the chit-chat published here by a worldwide bunch of Disco-fanatics.

Or check out the main site and DISCOver the information goldmine that's hosted there.
