Oh the poor noble always-take-the-high-road Republicans.

Weren't they the kind souls who RELENTLESSLY accused the Clintons of EVERYTHING EVIL up to and including MURDER!!!! He had to be impeached for embarrasing our country with his lie that he got a b.j. in the Oval Office from a chubby Beverly Hills nobody. SCANDALOUS!!! :o :o :o

Boo hoo!!! I feel your shame. Yeah the fact that your Emperor's wearing no clothes has been rather obvious lately. Thanks Toto for finally pulling back the curtain to reveal the incompetence that is in charge of our country's affairs. Thanks for the unneccessary war Bushie. Halliburton thanks you. Those who hate America to the core thank you. You've inspired a whole generation of America haters to devote thier lives to getting even with us.

If American voters have a shred of intelligence, they'll thank you all the way back to your Crawford, Texas ranch to clear some more brush come November.

Oh, please. We're supposed to nod and follow blindly and not criticize or else we're "unpatriotic" and "un-American"? Last time I checked, voicing dissenting opinions is one of our RIGHTS as Americans. Trouble is, Ashcroft and his crew have too many people too scared to do so. And as for this being a "time of war," just who started the war we're currently mired in, hmmm?

Well, we'll certainly be voting for the CryptKerry against the Chimp (quelle surprise!)
I wonder if we'll have any more voting machine "malfunctions" in predominately Black neighborhoods here in Brooklyn as we did in 2000?

Count on it Boodi. I read a lot of those anti-establishment writings such as Greg Palast. The repubs will stop at nothing to win. And, with a population of lemmings and a Dem party with the backbone of a jellyfish, I don't know if I blame 'em.

Just my 2 cents:

From where I'm sat it would appear that the USA has completely lost its way politically. Our suspicion for the past 40 years or more, is that it's the people with the most money that get to be politically powerful in the USA. In other words, the USA is a politically corrupt society that's not much better than some of the tin pot countries it seeks to occasionally chastise.

So far as I can tell, you guys need to get out and see a bit more of the world. Less than 25% of Americans own a passport. That is very telling and goes a long way to explain your poor foreign policy and the current political mess you're in. Wars cannot be waged on a 2 year cycle and presidents shouldn't be made to have what is effectively 2 years in office. Your presidential election process is way too long.

A third party might make things slightly more democratic don't you think? Two party politics is pretty dire and gives the electorate little choice. Hence many of the comments above. Seems to me that you're between a rock and a hard place. Exactly the same scenario exists in the UK today, because our two major parties are full of grey people who expound roughly the same rhetoric and the third party tend to agree with whoever they fancy at the time. Democracy is being badly served at the moment. What we both need are some proper, bona fide statesmen.

What I think of politicians. Well pretty much most of them are any good because they usually stuff things up one way or another.

Firstly, my opinion of George W Bush. I never liked the bloke!!! I think he has something to hide in his trackydaks as most presidents and prime ministers do and all those in high power, like as if he knows a lot more than he says, I maybe right I maybe wrong but I have a feeling he's got something to hide! Also I'm tired of seeing and hearing about him, he's like plastered all over the telly and radio and internet, there's no escaping the Bushwhacker  !!! Also obviously his plan to block gay marriages, that I think is disgraceful  !!!

Secondly, Australia's own George Bush arse-kisser Prime Minister Johnny Howard. He's a wanker  !!! He is always kissing George Bush's date all the time getting brown lips and treating Bush as if he were god by doing whatever Bush tells him to do  !!! Johnny makes Australia look bad  !!! John Howard as mentioned too wants to block gay marriages!!! Not just that, he refuses to say sorry for the horrid treatment of Aboriginals during the convict days. And he brings in this stupid system called GST which is more tax we have to pay out on foods and products. He and the whole arse kissing Liberal party are only in for the filthy rich business men which obviously voted Liberal in. It's like with Liberal, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, Liberal is only for rich multi-billion dollar businesses. When we use to have Labour party they were interested in us people giving us a fair go. Honestly my opinion of Johnny Howard is the same as George Bush, if not worse cos he and the party are stuffing up Australia big time!!! He is ruining Australia's tradition which is to "give one a fair go". And of course just like Bushy there is no escaping Johnny Howard's face as he is plastered all over the media so I unfortunately cop a double dose of annoying politicians. I really hope the Greens party will win next election, they are the best party in Australia. But as usual nice guys finish last all because of money made by business conglomerates  !!! Once little Johnny fuckin' Howard hits the end of his reign as Prime Minister he's gonna settle comfortly in a bigarse mansion with an astronomical amount of money which will set him for life whilst he leaves a trail of mess behind  !!! Johnny has pissed me off so much that I feel like dropping my dacks and chucking a browneye at him just like how Bart Simpson would do  !!!

I'm never a fan of politicians, most of them are crap and corrupt in their own way as they always manage to do something that stuffs up the country  !!!

Quinny, Funky.
At the risk of sounding some intellectual elitist which I'm not, IMO most of the voting public here in the states is politically stupid. I'm not saying this because they don't vote the way I vote. My impression though is people bitch about wanting change. When the time comes to make a change they vote for the same old thng.
Howard Dean did propose having an instant runoff system where by people could vote their 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, what have you. The leading candidates would then face off. That way people might be more inclined to vote their heart felt choices. Of course this might ruin the 2 party stranglehold in the states. That's just another reason why the parties hated him

Welcome back my long time....err good to see you over here my friend :D
It gets rough over here sometimes but with the truth on your side, the neanderthals will be no match for you
As for the Bush Crime Family, the polls show the American public is catching up to the rest of the world. Trying to restore representative democracy will be a challenging task with these neo-nazis who have seized power and the spineless dems who spend most of their time in DC in fear of them.

...and some of you might think I'm harsh using terms like the bush crime family, and when I refer to their minions as neanderthals 8) These knuckle scrapers seem beyond reason sometimes.
Discoman and Mix represent that 30% crowd who have swallowed the kool-aid and wont de-tox for whatever reason.
So Discoman, you are fairing quite well under fascism I take it. Incompetence or no, you're doing well so the crime family should keep on doing what they're doing!

Which elected prez has favoured your mindblowing neocommunist thoughts? See above.

Let's hope the next one is Kerry-Ketchup and his stupid wife or Dean "I'll say anything to get your vote". So you'd like to see Kerry or Dean. I love Dean. I know he would have beat the crap outta Bush. Hey, don't be Teresa Heinz hater. At least she is not a Stepford Wife!

Hey, maybe Chavez could take over. That'll be the day for you guys. You'll have a 24h orgasm! You've got that right :D

Or Jimmy "Peanuts for brains" Carter, then you'll be sure Iran will have the Nukes within' no time 8) At least Carter has a brain. George W Scarecrow is still following the yellow brick road. Umm, it was Jimmy who was trying to get us off oil 30 years ago. Reagan killed that idea and like most all republicans have done, left us in a worse place. As for Iran getting nukes, credit the dumbass at 1600 Penn. for calling them out. N. Korea upped it's nuke count and Iran is getting into the ballgame cause jackass called them among the axis of evil. Notice he invaded the easier of the 3 countries he called out. Not all heads of state are as dumb as this dimwit.

Or Hillary, Godmother of the Clinton Crime Syndicate. I'll bet you are going into real estate when she is in power. 8) Hillary doesn't compare to Barbara Bush. Like that mother in alien, Barbara's spawn has and continue to wreak havoc on a global scale.
That real estate deal is chump change compared to what the Bush Crime Family take in daily. Some have said that real estate deal wasn't exactly something to brag about but the wingnuts had to find something.

Paul, I noticed in your post that you don't like Repubs AND Demos? Since those are the only valuable parties over there, I think you are preparing a coup d'état, mmmmmh :o
Green is a possibility. I will still vote for Dems like Howard Dean. At this time I have ceased donating money to the national organizations however.
Discoman, Mix, I hope you guys do the job. Don't let the States be ruined by these Pol Pot-adepts, plzzzzzz!

I hope the next one is not a Republican, so I don't have to read Mao and Fidel-bullshit all the time for the next 6 years 8) By all measures given the poll numbers and the state of the nation it shouldn't be republican. Then again repugs are going up against "establishment" dems. These guys know how to snatch defeat from victory

Paul, BTW, I heard you traded your Trans Am for a Zastava! Thinking about it. They said Angelina and Salma are the optional equipment they might be able to give me 8)
And remember boys and girls, ya can't spell war without "W"
