VS, it has been the Repug/neocons/PNAC freaks who have had their dirty hands in all these dealings overseas --recently Herr Cheney & Herr Rove were over in Eastern Europe instigating this Georgia flare-up. Somehow Georgia got the idea that we'd back them up on their invasion. Wonder where they got that idea??? Grampy McSame's foreign policy specialist is a paid lobbyist [to the sum of $800,000] for--where now?? oh, yeah, "GEORGIA"--and I ain't talkin' about the one with Atlanta.

Somehow these maniacal cretins think world conflict is a campaign strategy and good news for getting them elected again. Putin has called them on it. Everything is done for political gain--they believe in Party over Country. Whatever keeps them in power, they will do.

Do you think the vast majority of the American citizens approve of all the nasty invasions and occupations and renderings and torture and lies told about it at this point in time?

I can't make predictions because we seem to live in "BIZARRO WORLD" where the opposite of reality seems to be REALITY--but over 38 million watched Obama [on network/cable TV] give his 42 minute acceptance speech before a crowd of 85,000 in Denver. Grampy McSame couldn't get 10,000 to fill a stadium for his VP pick. It would appear the Repugs are going down badly. But the media wants to milk it for all it's worth and call it a "horserace" and get that ad $$$$$ --so the "race to the White House" continues.

I think a change is gonna come---even more so after this ludicrous VP choice--"a MILF" ["Mom I'd Like to Fuck"] who was the lady mayor of a town of less than 9,000 people, then the governor of a state with around 675,000 people for 1.5 years--now, overnight, she's a heartbeat/malignant cancer lesion away from the presidency??? I don't think so.

Palin is the "red meat" to throw to the Evangelicals. I'm not sure they are all on board yet. To me, this is sort of like Harriet Miers. We don't know her.

McCain met her twice. Once in 2007 and last Sunday. Not much thought.

Want to know some more about her.

Here.

Now, we are talking!

The Georgia thing? Right on! Putin just knew what sleaze was going on and he clearly said: "No way!". South-Ossetia and Abchesia are right on the border of Russia. Do they really think that the Russian government will ever accept that they are being closed in by Nato forces? Just mentioning: the Russian army is not weak, you know. It's probably the most dangerous army in the world right now! Let's face it, Napoleon couldn't take Russia, Hitler has failed over there too, so.....!

And yes, Marky, the rumour that the Georgia-war is started to please a "current presidential candidate" is in our press too!

Now, you know, I do not trust the Iranian government for one penny! But if they are really planning to launch an attack, right now, without the Russian support for such an attack, well, I can't remember the saying right now: "You better hold on to your (whatever)"!

Will Obama change that course? Yes/No? If he wants too, will they let him do it? Yes/No? The powers that be, that is....

Great discussion guys, thx!

But now I'm off and I'm gonna play some great Disco....with great voices....I feel like listening to...Denis and Denise, better known to some of you as.....OMG ...LIME!

JOE LA GRECA FOR PRESIDENT!

This was a sentence that I don't get. Are you talking about the election procedure here?

In Belgium we HAVE to vote. If you don't vote you are indicted and convicted. In the past, when we still voted with paper and crayon, you could easily draw a cartoon on your voting ballot and then that ballot would not be counted.

Nowadays, we vote on a computer screen. You can vote for your candidate or you can choose "Blanco". In that case your vote goes to the elected majority The winner gets all the "blanks" and that's important coz' over here the "seats" in the parliament, city hall, etc.... are based on the amount of votes. Example: the x-party wins the elections with 2 million votes, then they calculate: 2 million votes = so many seats. But counting in the "blanks" can have a big influence on those "seats".

Elections 2007 - Chamber - Seat Distribution

http://polling2007.belgium.be/en/sen...4111_p672.html

So, no calling up people to go out and vote here. If it's election time, you simply HAVE to go out and vote!

Fascinating story here on the rumors that VP nominee Sarah Palin is not the mother of her 5th child--but actually the grandmother. This was a plotline used this season on "Desperate Housewives" wherein Bree [Marcia Cross] pretended to be pregnant--so that when her teenage daughter's child was born, Bree could say it was hers. Bree sent her teen daughter to a convent during the pregnancy--It appears Sarah took her daughter out of school for mono reasons for a period of 5-8 months!!!! One day, the governor announced she was 6 months pregnant--although, unlike Bree, who used a series of pregnant baby bump pillows-- she didn't appear to be at all.

Here's a realife version...maybe.... from the Daily Kos website:

The closer the election comes, the nastier things get!

Marky, I've noticed those Kool Aid remarks on the board a lot. But I never understood them. What's the story?

"drinking the Kool Aid" I believe, stems from the cult leader Jim Jones who made all his followers drink Kool Aid and commit mass suicide in the late Seventies in Guyana.

Since then it has been used to refer to folks who blindly follow one political party or another and never question the talking points--but just drink the Kool Aid and spout the party line.

Kool Aid is a cheap kid's drink made by dissolving a packet of sugary flavored powder into water and gettin' the kids a cheap sugar-high!

Does that explain it?

Daily Kos: Sarah Palin Is NOT The Mother [Photos+Video]
Well that story in that link lays it out pretty well.

I smelled something foul in this one right off .

I mean I've never been in this situation myself ....but it seems pretty obvious to me that no mother , who is in the midst of unexpected premature birthing, is going to choose to go to an airport (and go thru all that it entails these days ) to catch an EIGHT HOUR minimum flight in hopes of finishing off the birth already in progress elsewhere .
(Anyone want to try to explain a reason to do this ???)

No , any sane, responsible, motherly person goes directly to the nearest hospital.

Conclusion: She's either a total nut job or (and?) ...she faked the whole thing.

Don't wait for FOX news or Sean Hannity to give us their "fair and balanced" report on this story ...... in this case, thank gawd for The National Enquirer .

They are going to sell A TON of copies of this upcoming week's issue .

OH WOW !!!!!!!

from the link above :

NOTE FROM PROPHETESS DEBBIE:

“It was just moments ago revealed to me from our Savior the reason the Palin family had to resort to such a complicated and implausible lie. According to our Lord, there is no boyfriend to marry. The father is Bristol’s older brother Track, which is why the young man was shipped off to Iraq. Shocking yes, but you can’t question my source!”

Well, this story could be bogus and political dirtdigging, we don't know yet but reading this on an Evangelical board surprises me. Does this mean that she is not supported by them? If so, did McCain make a big mistake? Choosing her to get the female and Christian votes, the Obama/Biden team will probably not get?

Btw, Remmy, being a Christian myself: the comments on that board scare me! Sorry, just devastating!

BTW2, just in, John McCain is considering to postpone the Republican convention, normally beginning next Monday, because of the alarming news on Hurricane Gustav.

You see, while we are discussing this stuff, some people are on the verge of loosing everything. Maybe, we should think about them now?

I don't know, will this "Kiddie" thing cause such a riot? Do you think McCain will go for another partner? How big is this story in the US right now? Is it already being discussed on national media? CNN, Fox, CBS?

It's Saturday night ..It hasn't broke yet .

No matter how much of the other information is or isn't true : Here is the REAL news article from when the kid was born :

Quote:
ANCHORAGE DAILY NEWS

Gov. Palin gives birth to son Trig

By KYLE HOPKINS
khopkins@adn.com

Published: April 18th, 2008 02:52 PM

Last Modified: April 18th, 2008 03:42 PM
Gov. Sarah Palin gave birth to her fifth child at 6:30 this morning at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, her spokeswoman said today.

The boy's name is Trig Paxson Van Palin. He's 6 pounds, 2 ounces.
"The governor's labor began while she was in Texas, and I do know that she got on a plane and landed in Anchorage late last night," said Palin spokeswoman Sharon Leighow.
The scenario being claimed is just too unbelievable ....

Just to make sure , I checked the whereabouts of Mat-Su Regional Medical Center where the birth took place
It's :
2500 S. Woodworth Loop - P.O. Box 1687 - Palmer, Alaska 99645 - (907) 861-6000
