Of the 3, the most likely to win is McCain.
Hillary, in addition to her yes vote for the Iraq War, has been moving politically right. She'll have a tough time getting libs like me to vote for her. In addition, if Kerry had a tough time with his Iraq War vote, I don't see Hillary fairing better. The biggest drawback for Hillary though is she is red meat for right-wingers. The republicans are praying she is the nominee. They can run practically anyone because they know there constituents will come out and vote against Hillary.

Obama is equally as weak. One word here, Tennesee. This country especially in the south will not elect an African-American in my lifetime as president. In the south they don't even want a Black Senator. Ignoring race for a bit, Obama is still new on the scene and not enough votes and agendas pushed through to know where he is coming from.

McCain has sold his soul to the every republican devil he could find. He wants to be president. I get the feeling that the repub base aren't that excited by him.

McCain like the others are the NY and DC media darlings and are constantly being thrust on us. I'm not sure if McCain will make it because repubs seem inclined (rightly so in my opinion) to pick candidates who fit their ideology over "electability." Dems are just the opposite. Given that scenario, Hillary could be the nominee for Dems. The repubs can then find the nazi in their party they favor to run against her.

Hey Paul, what about Howard Dean? I understand he was the only one against the Iraq war from the beginning.

Nano, I would lovvvvvvvvvvve to see Howard run. He said he wouldn't run in 2008 as part of the deal in taking the DNC chairman job. Even though he's a man of his word, I'm hopeful he changes his mind.
Right now my preference is Senator Russ Feingold if Howard wont run.
