Here's Your John Kerry Apology

The desperate Repugs and their radio peddlers are more than transparent with their strategy to feign outrage over Kerry’s more true than not comments. If it’s such a high honour to have your body parts blown apart in Iraq … how come none of these politicians ….nor their radio spokes holes have their own families over there ???

So the Repugs are trying to distract the common folk from the real issues at this election time ….such as how screwed they are at running the country … by trying to ignite outrage over John Kerry’s comment … ( well they can’t use Clinton all the time ).

Of course Kerry’s comment to students now in college is true at it’s core and he‘s right to advise them to stay in school and stay clear of that Iraqi mess … unlike the Repugs who approve of aggressively recruiting every and any unsuspecting young kid they can hustle straight out of high school . …
I know they are trying to skew the statistics to say otherwise …...but we all know which Americans most often wind up being cannon fodder in these wars .

I'm no defender of Kerry , Skoot. They all make me sick. I just hate to see these phony issues get played at election time ... as if any of them really give a rats ass about kerry's comments ...they just want an excuse to stir shit ... to push the patriotic buttons of the average joe and get him to vote accordingly . These chicken hawk conservative Country Clubbers all support "the troops" .....meaning the kids of the average American .... not their own

Remmy, it's all starting to be a big show isn't it??? Programs, points of view don't matter anymore.

Only the way you score in the media is important. And it's not a US-thing only.

Even in a small country like ours politicians appear in gameshows, entertainment programs, celebrity magazines and they don't seem to get the fact that it's starting to backlash. We have 1 dude here, the mayor of Leuven, who never participated in that kind o' bull. He doubled his score last elections coz' the people know he's there to govern and not to be the new Joker in town.

And like you say, sitting comfortable behind a desk and sending young kids to war is easy, very easy. All those Pentagon big shots should be constantly in Iraq or Afghanistan! Maybe they would open their eyes and take other decisions, n'est-ce pas?

It's not a garbage issue. Kerry is a US Senator with a long history of denigrating the US military.

oh please. :-o:-o:-o Kerry left the word "us" out of his pre-scripted "joke." The news media have the transcripts. So his botched "joke" was offensive to the military? Give me a break. He actually joined the military and went to Vietnam and was wounded (Ann Coulter likes to say he self-inflicted-- pitiful tranny that she is)....:-P:-x:-P so now the poor military are demoralized?--not the Repugs trying one last time to score patriot points off this man? I hope he shuts up---but don't try for a minute to make me believe he was really disparaging the troops in Iraq. You know better. This was nothing but a political hatchet job--brought on by his own words, but totally inconsequential.
