| The extreme Roman-Catholic movement Opus Dei (The Work Of God) wants to forbid the forthcoming movie "The Da Vinci Code" for minors. The pic, based on the bestseller of Dan Brown is under fire from the Vatican for some time now. The instution calls it blasphemious and based on fictional facts and proven lies. For people who don't know the concept: the novel deals with the revelation that Jesus was married to Maria Magdalena, that they had children and that she fled to Europe after the crucifiction. All the European kings are said to be "grand-grandchildren" from Jesus. Those revelations are apparently hidden in the paintings of Leonardo Da Vinci. I haven't read that novel but I've read some works where they have a more scientific approach of the matter and prove that Brown is wrong on many things, like the Priory Of Sion. The movie is already a hype. Will you go see it? Like a thriller? Like a proof that the RC-church is hiding certain facts? Or do you not bother at all? |

| Johan, I enjoyed reading the book so I'm sure I'll go to see the movie. Let's just hope they follow the book closely and not put some Hollywood style ending or bow to the RC church and water it down. |
