I could go on but i think I made the point. Like you said, even the scared to death media can't avoid having reporting what's going on. Perhaps like the CIA, they are sick of these banana republicans.

You love liberalism; come to Massachusetts and live it every day.
I thought you'd have been in Florida by now?
By the way, where are you getting your economic numbers from? I hope it's not Bill O'Lielly

I leave for the Sunshine State next week.

My wife and I have purchased a fabulous home north of Tampa - 3 times the floorspace of what we now own at 2/3 the cost and 1/2 the heartburn of similar in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Massachusetts.

Massachusetts is 45 out of 50 states in jobs creation according to the Boston Edition of Pravda (The Boston Globe).
The "For Sale" signs are evident as you drive through the area.
My neighbor on the southern side of my property hasn't been able to sell a terrific property in a year and 2 price reductions(so much for Mass' dynamic real eatate market, average time on the market is now 8 months).

The outmigration numbers come from both state and fed census numbers for 2004. I'm gleefully anticipating the out-migration numbers for 2005.

Baby boomers in the Commiewealth of Massholechusetts are cashing out and bailing out to Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, Nevada and Arizona. Newly graduated teachers here CAN'T get jobs. They go to Florida and they have jobs in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!

So here's an invitation: You committed liberal types; Come to Massachusetts and live your liberal utopia. Here's your opportunity to live the european model, you so admire, in the United States! Replace those of us bailing out!!! Come to the state of one party liberal democRat rule. Put your money where your mouth is! Come to Massachusetts!!!!!!!!

Paul, baby, when was the last time you watched O'Reilly?

Or do you prefer Air America (is this still on the air?), NPR and moveon.org?

It's been 15 years since I really watched O'Lielly. Back then he was just a local shmuck on Boston TV.
I heard from Media Matters that he keeps praying for Air America's death. Well all I can tell you is the network is growing with new stations coming on the air almost every week. They are up to 72 stations. I love their programming. I know they have a station in Beantown.
Yes, I am also a moveon member.
I used to like NPR when I had no radio option. I never listen to 'em now.
As for coming back to Boston, i used to live there and go to school there. I prefer the sunshine in SoCal. Besides despite the gropernater, we have a Democrat state with one of my very favorite Senators, Barbara Boxer. :D

California also has a problem with business moving out... Hmmm, do we have a similarity here?

"It's been 15 years since I really watched O'Lielly" I'm not surprised. Hey, isn't Soros, that socialist nut-case, funding moveon and air america?

Paul, how's that Kool-Aid?

I prefer cabernet and a good lager myself.

The invitation to move to Massachusetts remains.

Jeez, if all of the liberal wackos move to Massachusetts and the rest of New England (Vermont is more commie than Mass) we in the rest of the country could isolate you liberal Kool-Aid drinkers up here in the frozen north, cede New England to Canada or France, where you truly belong, and save the rest of country from your intelectual polution.

I'd be willing to trade New England to Canada for the Yukon Territory or Baffin Island or the Northwest Territories or some other frozen Arctic wasteland. They would be far more valuable to the U.S. than the political and economic wasteland that is New England.

And now over here, our beloved statesmen :o are trying to create the United States Of Europe, the ultimate wet dream of Socialists and Commies

Europe is telling us what to do, is making stupid rules for about everything and is just a cover-up for creating well-paid jobs for politicians that are too dumb to make a carreer in their own countries. Europeans are fed up with this bull, vote "en masse" against it in polls but the beloved statesmen :o just carry on

It isn't far from the truth. The extreme right and extreme left are polarizing the people in this country and forcing them to either extreme, which is wrong. This is the lack of common sense. There's no middle ground anymore. Common sense is gone.

All I'll say is beware of the evangelical movement in this country. They are a scary crazy bunch and will stop at nothing, but what is their catalyst? The nut-jobs on the extreme left.

That's the problem, Bernie, I am a conservative (rightwinger, but not an extreme rightwinger!) and I hate the so called Political Correctness but I am frightened when a political view is based on extreme religion. That always goes wrong! History shows it again and again!

The secret to the great success of the American political tradition has been debate and compromise between the agrarian conservatives and the urban Jeffersonian liberals.

That began to change 40 years ago when our liberal party (Democrats) moved to a more European socialist economic model. IMO this was the beginning of our current political problems. Both sides screed at one another now and have lost sight of our debate and compromise tradition.

And as much as I respect and appreciate what Bernie is doing for us vis a vis this website and I understand the point he is making, however, remarks such as this from liberals are exactly what has caused the evangelical movement in this country to develop as it has. People of faith are sick and tired of being so characterized. After 30 years of this they are fighting back. The left has no one to blame but themselves for it.

Another good example is the anti-Catholic bias in this country which remains our only acceptable prejudice...
