Hi Sirius,

About "Trax" I only know "Breathless" (Bellotte & Forsey), a very good disco sound. Is Pete Bellotte the songwriter of "Watch Out For The Boogie Man" too ? Thanks.

What is that Olympic Union & Athenians version of Dirlada like I must know! I have the tune discofied on the Incr. Disco Bouzouki Band's impeccably tacky&fun album, on two versions, plus there's the Greekadiscopedia thing as well and the Dalida medley naturally. Her's is way too short so the I.B.D.B has been a fave ever since but the raspy male vocal sort of spoils the medley.

TRAX has been produced by PETE BELLOTTE & KEITH
FORSEY in 1977. "Watch Out For The Boogie Man" is
a real long track over 14 Minutes and can be really
combined with the later Songs of BILLY IDOL like "White
Wedding". Some say, that "Watch Out..." is too long
but you can mix or cut it.
On the B-Side you have the tacky "Dance", "Breathless"
and the more funky but interesting "Any Way You Want
It".

OLYMPIC UNION & THE ATHENIANS is real similar to
the GREAT BOUZUKI BAND. For me the only real good
song on this album is "Dirlada", which is very danceable.
But maybe you can forget the rest.
About AVERAGE DISCO BAND: I just love perverted
CoverVersions from the DiscoEra. The rearrange or
derange BeatlesSongs in a heavy DiscoTreatment, that
even BeatlesFans aren´t able to recognise it...isn´t it
wonderful???
