Something of interest. The BBC are broadcasting a documentary as part of a forthcoming disco season. The Donna Summer Story to be broadcast on Radio 2 at UK 10pm Saturday 4th July. Should be available outside UK via the website. Here is a link to the info, I'm looking forward to it and hope it does her and her music justice.

Do you or anyone else knw how to record this? I want to record it to my computer but not sure how to do it. Any advice?

A friend on Multiply posted it - I can never get past the parts where Donna begins talking about god.

I find it hard to associate her as a religious fanatic when I see here singing "Love To Love You Baby" and moaning and sexually gyrating.
I love Donna's music very much and her voice - the god thing is just too much.

I know she is talented - but where is this guilt from where she much believe in this story and it's ridiculous part of talking snakes and pillars of fire.

Too much.

I will continue to love her music - but she is another Michael Jackson to me - too much off the deep end when it comes to the religion.

You ought to get past the God references, Pete Bellote was really interesting talking about the music and a few interesting things (to me), David Foster played keyboards on Last Dance and thought it would fail for one. I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

I've got to try and listen to the week of disco anthems that are being played each night, the clip had Bohannon's Let's Start The Dance so it is more than a chart friendly recap.
