(doubled the station's numbers) And my sincerest gratitude, to all who tuned-in for Monday's Encore!! (tripled the Premier's numbers!) I promise this week's show (Episode 2) and next week's show (Episode 3 - currently, in production) are even better! LOTS of suprises, in store... Thursdays @ 12noon - Atlantic / 9am - Pacific (encore broadcasts on Mondays, @ 12noon - Atlantic / 9am - Pacific) Live365 / DISCOTERIA presents: "Stephen L. Freeman's BACK TO MUSIC" A weekly 2-hour show that focuses on the Disco/Dance tracks that were hits in the clubs, as opposed to the Disco Music that's traditionally played on the radio. From Ashford & Simpson to Stock, Aitken & Waterman...this show is for US! The denizens of Discoland. With thousands of tracks, spanning 3 decades of Disco/Dance to pick from, one of my goals is not repeating a single song (or any particular mix of a song), within each section of the show, for 4 to 6 months. There's way too much material to cover, for me to be repeating anything! The 1st hour is individual tracks. With personal commentary, as well as industry factoids about the track and/or it's artist, writer, Producer, label, etc... With 99% of the music being edited/mixed by me, personally, just for the show. Providing you with the feel of the Club versions, without having to sit through the standard DJ mixing elements and repetition. There's also an e-mail address: StephenLFreeman@att.net , where you can submit dedications (I love dedications!) The 2nd hour is moi Episodes 1 & 2's mixed-hours, featured live recordings from my 1987 party @ Uncle Charlie's, Miami: "I Remember Yesterday" Episode 3's mixed-hour, kick's-off a 6-part series from my Award-Winning, 1991 party @ The COPA, Key West: "Disco Inferno" http://www.live365.com/stations/cdnbob2

| I'm loving the show! And I would love if you would put up the "playlists" eventually. There are still some songs I don't know. One suggestion.....maybe create a MySpace page for the show, and for your fans, and put the playlists up a week or two after the show. A sort of post-performance blog. Also, have you and Cdnbob considered staggering the rebroadcast time? By playing Monday and Thursday at the same time, you might be reaching many of the same audience. If one of the times was moved, say to 3PM Eastern time, as was the first day, you can reach the Europeans at home in the evening, and the Asian and Australian market wakeing up. Of course, I am being completley selfish, as I cannot always be listening at 12 noon. But I love the show and enjoy the station too. Congrats to all. |

| Needlefingers, thanks for the kind words on both the show and the station. Good to hear your enjoying it. I'll talk to Stephen and see if maybe we can move around the repeat broadcasts to later in the day on Monday's. It's definitely a work in progress. And great idea about the playlists. I'll see what I can do.

It's been a much rougher task than, either Bob, or myself thought it'd be. But we're both plowing through the red-tape that comes with broadcasting. Even on a format like live365. I think Bob started a blog about the show But I'd have to go back and check his messages to me. I'm so wrapped-up in the Production end, that I can't focus on much else. Every Episode can take 15+ hours to Produce, and has been quite a learning experience for us both. I love that you love the format. I'd hoped the need for a show like this wasn't just a personal desire. I know we can't post playlists prior to airtime (live365's rules As for the time-slot... My main concern was that most people listen to Internet radio when they're at work. (So far, the bulk of feedback, outside of DiscoMusic.com members, has come from this group of listeners.) So, the noon-2pm/Atlantic show is meant to cover the lunch-hour, while catching the Pacific-coast listeners at 9am.The start of the work day. But the show will remain "a work in progress" for many episodes to come. So thank you for the positive feedback AND the thoughtful advice. We both appreciate it and are happy to admit that we don't have all the answers. P.S. I read your message with my first cup of coffee, today. Thanks for a great start to my day!
