Welcome to the latest installment of the Happy Jazz Show sponsored by Gama Clothing . Everybody loves the sunshine...but where has it been in the UK? Must be showing our age as this year, we have really noticed just how grey and miserable it's been this summer(?). Anyway, enough of that great depressing British tradition of moaning about the weather as at least the music policy remains in place. What better way to escape then to tune in to 2 hours of great music courtesy of the Happy Jazz show.

This show features a superb guest mix from our good friend George Arthur in the 2nd hour. Many thanks to George for sharing his love of music with us - we both truly appreciate it. The mix has a lovely flow to it and overlaps beautifully across many genres. It's got to be heard!

New music this show from the Haftor Medboe Group - be sure to check them out at Haftor Medboe Group and also to our good friend Mister Speaker / Gentleman Jim from The Gentleman Players. Been meaning to play this quality music on the show for a while and finally got round to it. I cannot recommend this group of musicians highly enough! You will be hearing a lot more of The Gentleman Players on the show that's for sure. In the meantime, if it's quality jazz funk you are after then check them out at The Gentleman Players. Also included is some 70's jazz / fusion and a bit of Brazilian boogie in there too as Adrian gets ready for the Boogie Bar at Cafe Lati Ri, 1 Rivington Place, London on Friday 12th September with hosts Obi, Rob Whitlock and Baljit. Gonna be a cracker - a night of boogie plus live acts and free CD giveaways. Hope to see some of you down there for that.
