 "American Generation" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Ritchie Family
In 1978 The Ritchie Family LP “American Generation” added flair to disco music, which used the idea that an uplifting theme could resonate on the dance floor forever. Fans of this ensemble have yet to let go of this feeling.
Produced by Jacques Morali (Village People, India, Eartha Kitt, Patrick Juvet, Dennis Parker, Julius Brown) this clever LP worked on using disco to outline a more positive outlook on disco’s effect. While listening to this track you can still hear the excitement that the disco era created.
I have ReStructured the track from its LP version to give more appeal to the vocals and the fantastic orchestration – and have a little fun with some pieces of the excitement.
