 "In The Forest" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Baby 'O
Just when they told us that disco was "dead" and over, a package with the title Baby 'O arrives - and the theme was a place called "The Forest" and if we were in this place, we would party and "live as we should". I guess this was the renaming of the disco party - and in good style.
A festival of Calypso rhythms and the so sensual feel of the disco ensemble this track pulsates in and out with a great fantasy-like theme. It was a shear winner and still remains one of the great party songs of disco dance floor.
Released on Baby 'O Records and Tapes in 1980 and produced by Rafael Villafane and Eric Reider - noted as arranged by Greg Mathieson
I have ReStructured this track like it consisted of gold pieces - the tracks are flawless so chopping areas were carefully chosen and extended choruses were a must.
