Default Flashback Top 25, Top 10, Megamix and Track List

"If you download one CD Length mix, make it this one. If you've been in to music over the past few years
and/or love to dance, you will be absolutely thrilled with this find! Here is a continuously mixed
synopsis of the biggest chart-toppers in the world from 2005. The mix itself is mind-boggling at
times. Jaws will drop at the audio splendor throughout, but particularly from "What You Waiting For"
through the Ciara tracks and again from "Lonely" through "Phunk." As one listens again and again, more subtleties
are exhumed, like during "Hung Up" when ABBA sings "there's not a soul out there," and Madonna's voice
comes in "hello, Junior?" ABBA continues "no one to hear my prayer," to which Madonna is heard to seemingly respond
"this is Madonna." Minutes later, Missy Elliot proclaims that we'll hit the floor as her track smoothly transforms
to a House stomper. Some of the transitions herein are equally spellbinding. Case in point "Pon de Replay"
into "Listen To Your Heart," with an inspired upswing of BPM's, and "Lonely No More" into "Boulevard of
Broken Dreams," which not only mixes brilliantly but also creates a lyrical theme. Indeed, the set flows
smoothly (many times the listener will not know where one song ended and the next began) from start to finish,
which is exactly what one wants in a great mixed recording. Humor? It's here, ala Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka from
the 2005 box office smash "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Wonka serves as the guide through a wonderland of
hits. And Tom Cruise feeling "the need for speed" as a jet roars by on a song called "Speed of Sound?"
Both tongue-in-cheek and a highly effective way to turn a rather awkward transition into a natural
progression. Perhaps best of all, the remixes used are not always the biggest or most popular, but without
fail seem to be the best; and at many times have been improved upon by using the best bits of multiple mixes.
Take my advise, check out The Club Countdown Top 25 of 2005, and see if you don't agree that this is one
of the best full-length CD mixes ever recorded... yet."
