Jacques Fred Petrus was responsible for producing projects which were essential to disco music and it's growth during the late 70's. Very little is known about this project titled Caprice which he produced in 1980. The compositions and arrangements were done by Candelario Sanchez.

It was released on Goody Music Records as an Italian Import. The compositions have the last touch of Euro-disco from this period. It was a time where arrangements with actual players was becoming a bit extinct in disco music. This may have been due to the popularity dwelling down and the funds for recording were limited to musicians and left many keyboards as the last option.

"Stay Tonight" is a track from this album which is about 4 minutes on the LP and featured with no intro to mix into. I always favored this cut because of the melodic chorus and the vocal (which is unknown) that always reminded me of Vi Ann from Paradise Express.

It is a great song with some elements that are unforgettable. I have taken a chance to create a whole new base for the song with a pumping synthesizer being the foundation and ambient layer below the track.

This is a shot for myself since the song I find beautiful and I felt needed to be revived and also the project not lost forever.
