 "If My Friends Could See Me Now" by Linda Clifford - Video Mix by Glenn Rivera  Linda Clifford's "If My Friends Could See Me Now" is a monumental disco track! I can remember seeing Linda on a television special by Don Kirshner back in 1978 and realized that disco music had arrived. This remains one of the finest productions (Gil Askey) of the disco era and perhaps one of the most fitting performances by Linda Clifford, a very talented artist. I was a big fan of "Sweet Charity" since I was 15, so hearing a disco version as a teenager with an arrangement completely new and invigorating was quite a thrill. The lyrics were written by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields and this dance version maintains the feel of the Broadway original with a whole new emphasis of interpretation.
