Linda Clifford has always been one of the finest of performers. To have her talent displayed in disco music is a gift for dance enthusiasts everywhere. From her productions with Mr. Curtis Mayfield and throughout her current house and club releases you can always feel Linda's best is always given.
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" was a cover in which Linda took her soulful appeal and made it work well over a pulsing arrangement. This track from her "Let Me Be Your Woman" double LP - produced by Gil Askey and mixed by Jimmy Simpson.
I have taken Linda's rendition and placed a few more breakdowns throughout her vocal and used her own power to create a new formation for this disco gem.
