Carol Lynn Townes confirmed the dance craze of of the 80’s, brought on by the disco era with “Believe In The Beat” – this song rings 80’s and also the good old a great dance anthem for it’s time.

I have taken the 1984 track produced by Ollie E. Brown and a fantastic 12” single mix by John "Jellybean" Benitez to a new arrangement and synth-mover feel. No matter how dated the sound may be – let’s keep the heart of the matter alive.

This track opens my SHADES OF SEVENTIES site and has remained the opening clip for several years now. Thanks to Alan for insisting this ReStructure be done. Thank you, Alan – it is a fantastic “good feel” song.
