Wear It Out - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Stargard • Wear It Out - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Stargard
1977 was the birth of Stargard. Their hit single "Which Way Is Up" from the Richard Pryor comedy film started a funky beginning with producer Mark Davis and soul connoisseur, Norman Whitfield as writer. A new sound was being introduced here with plenty of impact.
In 1978 their second LP "What You Waitin' For" was another excursion into a funk encounter. But "The Changing of The Gard" introduced a new production team, Robert Wright and Verdine White taking control of these ladies - and "Wear It Out" was the single. This ReStructure uses the power of the 12" single which runs well over the mix - this one was referred by Daniel here in San Diego and should bring back some memories of the end of the most powerful dance era in music. |
