Hi everybody,

Thanks to VJS Productions Inc. for letting me do this - on tomorrow's show I'll be playing one of Tom Moulton's Sandpiper Tapes from 1974.

Tom Moulton is one of the most famous producers and remixers in the world of disco. He invented the 12" record single by accident which is a staple still to this day in dance music and was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame in 2004.

Before all that he made tapes for gay nightclub The Sandpiper located on Fire Island, New York (he isn't gay for the record). The important thing to note.. these took him weeks to make as there was no slip cueing or beat matching technology at the time, so yeah.. really will be fun to play out tomorrow.
