July....and the rain keeps a coming here in the UK. So what better way to beat the grey skies than getting right down and dirty with the latest chapter of the Happy Jazz show? For those that have only viewed the playlists but not listened to the show, ask yourself why? Again we have dug deep for sounds from around the globe that other shows just cannot match. Music from Ethiopia, Benin, Colombia, Uganda, Brazil, Japan, Togo, Haiti, Dominican Republic, West Indies, France, Scandinavia, the U.S. and the good ol' UK too. Not many shows on the web actually provide these sounds so why not check us out for a change?

**** We will be adding in the next couple of days a limited download for the show for those that want to burn it off. Keep the eyes peeled for that by checking the forums ****

It's a mix of old and new sounds, the first hour featuring plenty of afro, caribbean and latin sounds. It's about discovery!!!!

The second hour see's classic jazz from Nat Adderley and Alain Jean-Maria, a focus on the new Scandy sounds of Timo Lassey and Nils Krogh and new and old jazz from Japan via Jabberloop and Yuji Ohno. It's an alright show y'know!

Big thanks to those who wished me (Adrian) a Happy Birthday via the myspace page and for those who have said Hi via the mail address. Feel free to comment but do remember that this show is only one of a handful that represents a true jazz voice these days. There are not many shows left that play the old school jazz at all so if you like it then support it. We are not looking for fame and fortune, we just dont want to be a part of the death of such great music. Simple as....
