Well its a new year and a new show for you. Hope you had a great time whatever you were up to and would like to wish you all the best for the forthcoming 12 months. Hope you get want you want, whatever that may be.

If it's just great music you were after then we are as normal happy to assist. As Mark was unable to make it for this show, Adrian has had to dig a bit deeper this time for the extra 60 minutes. Music via Norway, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Brazil, Guadalupe, Jamaica, U.S.A, UK, Romania, Puerto Rico and Nigeria fills the show.

The first hour sees us easing gently into things via some softer European fender fusion sounds courtesy of Second Direction, Romano Mussolini and Solis Lacus before hopping (as you do) across for some beautiful Brazilian sounds. Then off to the Islands for some coffee and cake with Marius Cultier, The Marvels and The Skatalites.

For the second hour, it was back to jazz dance basics. Starting off with the Adderley brothers, Dave Burns (so love this tune, big respects to Des Antoine), Pony Poindexter and Shake Keane. Also touched on some Romanian jazz via some Supraphon 10" LP's that needed a quick dust down before getting self indulgent with some serious afro cuban jazz and mambo. Also managed to include the new Los Hermanos Latinos12 and we topped off the hour with some Fela Kuti. It's a hectic 2nd half!!!!
