Having a poopy day at work? Having a nice day at work? Stuck at home with the kids ? Stuck at home without the kids? Done the washing/ironing/dusting and bored with crap like 'Neighbours' ? Couldn't give a dried up monkeys turd about the washing/ ironing/cleaning or 'Neighbours'? Having a cup ot tea and a nice peice of cake at and a nice sit down?
It's the mid afternoon mid afternoon and you want something to lively up yourself.
Well, whatever the hell you're doing why not listen to the Metropolitan Soul Show on
www.starpointradio.com
between 2.00pm and 4.00pm this afternoon.
The first hour music from the 70's through to the present day and the second hour is 60's and Northern soul.
The 60's and Northern hour today is a pre recorded show from April that didn't go out at the time. It could be the one where a live bear came in to the studio while the show was being recorded or it could be the previously thought lost one where Abi Titmuss and Jo Wallace were the special guests and we all ended up naked and jumping round the studio to The Innocent Bystanders 'Frantic Escape'.
Whichever one it is I have liitle idea what was on the playlist but can tell you the show features music from Billy Griffin, Donnie Elbert, Norma Jean Bell, Touch Of Class, The Whispers, Aura Jackson, Johnny Bristol and a host of other Soul superstars.
