Default Time Capsule Disco Radio Show Now Online

My new monthly internet radio programme, 'Time Capsule', has just been launched on Samurai FM:
http://www.samurai.fm/timecapsule/

Time Capsule is a monthly selection of records played 30 years ago by DJ Greg Wilson – the first in the series covering January 1976.

The idea was born of 'First Impressions', which Wilson put together to mark the 30th Anniversary of his club debut, on December 6th 1975.

As the months go by, Time Capsule will build into a veritable dance music archive, which will help illustrate how the Disco era unfolded from a UK perspective.

Each Time Capsule comes complete with tracklisting and accompanying text.

Greg,
This Time Capsule series is a welcome addition to this virtual world of disco - I love these Time Capsules....
they capture the UK scene perfectly,
I especially love the notes that go with each Capsule....I find myself going " Yes I did that, I remember this"...Awesome. :D .

If you put it out on a CD each month I would be prepared to buy it .
Hope you can keep going right up to the 80's ???

Hi starsky: Should be up on Six Million Steps within the next few days - I'll keep you posted.

You can't download from Samurai, only stream - that seems to be the general rule with online radio. Can't work out why you're having problems streaming from Samurai, should just be a matter of clicking on the programme you wanr to hear in the 'Latest Mixes' box.

I listened via Samurai to the March 1976 selection - what a good month it was for Disco/dance music. It would be fantastic to download as I sat by my PC listening when I should have been helping the kids with their homework! :o
