this actually came out on three different labels in the u.k route, pye and prt
i think the pye release was put out towards the end as it was the last release on route and they were probibly out of labels, the prt was an 80s re-issue, wonder which one quinny got as a cast off

I believe I had it on ROUTE and just know I HATED it! I'd been reading all about the Northern Soul scene in Blues & Soul and dreaded the thought of it maybe taking over the UK Dance scene. Luckily, it didn't.

Quinny, I'm with ya on the Tony Gregory. Can't believe you remember the bpm! you're right too, coz i recently timed it up for a mix. It goes nicely with another lesser known tune, that was big for us at the time... "Body English" by King Floyd (on Chimneyville Records 1976/77). Remember that one?

Forkin' Hell!*!!*!! AT LAST, someone who remembers the Tony Gregory track AND yes, Body English was a massively spun track by me. If only people realised just how good the Tony Gregory track was.

Vid, Miami did a few great tracks. A couple of faves... "I'll Hold The Groove" from the same album as "Kill That Roach", and "I Can See Through You" from the earlier Party Freaks album. Killer funky bass lines all over the place on their LPs.
