Hear Quinny Live

This Thursday 10th November on Smokefm.co.uk between 6pm and 8pm, I have agreed with Quinny to feature one of his live sets. It was done in the mid 80's and is fairly typical of what was heard in the UK club scene at that time featuring some great mixing, good tracks and a fair bit of nostalgia.

The show starts at 6pm (GMT)....the set will be played uninterrupted at some stage between the beginning and 8pm. There is a real time Message Board on the site so you can discuss it live as it happens, or just hit the 'Tune In' link. I might play some good tunes too!!

I'll be eagerly awaiting your swingeing, pop idol style scores.

Personally, I'd give myself about 7 out of 10 for mixing,
6 out of 10 for music content
5 out of 10 for vocal content (having to say things like "please no drinks & no cigarettes on the dancefloor" or "#2's showing red fellas" wasn't my idea of fun, good DJing or what punters wanted to hear).
10 out of 10 for nostalgic content. :lol: :lol: :lol:

All set and game on!! I have been checking output hourly and no problems with the computer.....just to contrast Quinny's mix I will be playing some very obscure Disco tonight - as well as a few of my all time favourites!!
