Default New Station--Fickle Radio

There's a new radio station in town and they have a very wide ranging playlist.

I listened for a while today and heard Donna Summer, Andy Gibb, Rickie Lee Jones, Journey and Lou Bega (Mambo #5).

Hadn't heard that Rickie Lee Jones song in years.

It's heavy on the 70's sound but they throw in a few recent hits also. It covers a wide musical spectrum.

NRG, is that an internet-station or a local station in your country?

No, it's a local station. I read on the internet that there are others across the country with a similar format.

It might be the latest fad.

It's kind of weird to hear

Donna Summer
Shania Twain
Partridge Family
The Supremes
Jimmy Buffet

Within a 15 minute set.

I think they are trying to appeal to a wide spectrum. It may succeed and then again....

They haven't played any rap yet.
