The thing that bugs me about Idol is a contestant will perform badly and not get voted off. Then a week or two later the same contestant does well and gets voted off.

I liked "Islands In The Stream" as sung by the four finalists. But anything Bee Gees is good for me ..... :D It occured to me during that performance that Bo has that Kenny Rogers type voice. ( Probably exactly why the producers chose that song) Same kind of face too.... aha.... Bo is the next Kenny Rogers ! :)

Anthony out ... not good , but somebody had to go ... the worst left standing will be the next American Idol .... " You've got to know when to fold 'em ..." ....

Here's the final three in a nutshell:

The postal worker, the Nashville princess and the man who forgot his razor.

it looks like all 3 had a great time going home for a day.

I'm disappointed in the results tonight... I'm all about BO next week. :)

I would've loved to heard Vonzell sing Natalie Cole's "This Will Be" instead of Aretha.

.... kinda goin out on a limb there aren't ya NRGBEAT ? :P ........... :D

God that sans instrument solo ( how do ya spell accapella? :-? ) by Bo on Wednesday night was embarassing !!! Hate it when someone smuggly tries to show off beyond their vocal capabilities . Good thing he wasn't at The Apollo!!!
He did do much better on Tuesday night .. he did some fine Elton and Stones covers ....and with his clear pronunciating I actually understood the words to those songs ......
Don't know what happened to Vonzell ...nerves I guess .... couldn't perform "On The Radio" after old white fart Clive Davis told her she had no soul :o  ..... oh well ... I look forward to her "Vonzell Sings the Diva Hits of the 70's" CD (hope it doesn't include "Vehicle" )!!

Carrie has never done it for me ... she's not bad ...not great ... so that leaves BO .... he sure came a long way once Paula zeroed in on him as her choice this season for her special coaching ..... that was right after he did :"Corner Of The Sky" I'd say ..... same week she tearfully said goodbye to Constantine .... good season overall ....

I turned on the tv yesterday and behold: it was "American Idol", with 4 contestants still standing. We are apparently a few weeks behind here ( as if I really cared..:-)) but why I'm writing is they had monsieurs Gamble&Huff there, accepting accolades and being forced to hear the longhaired contestant murder For The Love Of Money. It was great seeing the legendary Philly songwriters, and knowing they are still around and in good form. Ditch the rocker, please, and that country girl is a horror isn't she!

Oh gawdddd..... "Vehicle" again ...... I can never get enough of that classic 70's dance song .. what a dud of a finale .. six songs performed and six yawners to suffer through . Should 've been Anthony vs. Vonzell ..or anybody vs. Mario .

Now we've got Kenny Rogers Jr. . and lil' Tammy Wynette . Did you feel the big reduction of energy tonight with just the two of them left on stage . I realized tonight as I looked at them both , glittery Carrie and kiss-blowing Bo ...I don't care which wins ...
.... I'll go ahead and root for Carrie as the spoiler ...oh, just because I'd like to see the look on Paula's face as her mascara flows down each cheek ..... :P :P .....It's been an entertaining AI, but certainly not the best one ...the weakest element this season: TOO MANY BAD SONG CHOICES .....
That's it for this season.... it's
..........Remicks out........ :D

Even though I didn't get a rush from tonight's show... I did enjoy my American Idol experience this year. Why the heck does it take 2 hours to decide a winner tomorrow?

I was disappointed in the show too. Thought Carrie seemed really nervous and the song choices were terrible.

Here's a recap of some of the highlights and low lights of the past season.

Corey and Paula
"Vehicle" as Dance Music
Contestant Arrest Records
The Pout
The Mohawk
Mario's Departure

I must be a retard.... you guys like VEHICLE or not?
I can't tell if you are being serious or joking...

some disco songs that we got to see performed....

YOUNG HEARTS RUN FREE - Mikalah Gordon/Carrie Underwood
EVERLASTING LOVE - Scott Savol
MACARTHUR PARK SUITE - Carrie Underwood
DON'T LEAVE ME THIS WAY - Vonzell Solomon
DON'T TAKE AWAY THE MUSIC - Anthony Fedorov

I have a question... why does the show have to be 2 hours just reveal the winner?
