Now Trenyce from season 2 claims she had an intimate relationship with Corey. Maybe he should have his own show American Stud.

Last night: Carrie--She did okay on the first song. Didn't care for her song choice though and thought she seemed nervous on the Harold Melvin song. She may be going tonight. Bo--Of the two songs he did, I actually preferred the country song even though the judges didn't. Vonzell--Her better performance was on the Thelma Houston. She was a little pitchy on the Leann Rimes. Anthony--Enjoyed both his performances. He picked songs that suited his style and did a much better version of Harold Melvin. My guess for the bottom two Vonzell or Carrie.

****** Last night was worth watching just to see Gamble & Huff's brief appearance. Highlight of the night. With their large catalogue why do they wait until there are only four of them left to perform them ... Well , I finally got my goosebumps ....that rendition of "Don't Leave Me This Way " by Vonzell was over the top excellent . Hard to take Thelma's song to a new level , but I think she did. Even Simon commented on her intensity . .... I agree another minute of that and she'd have imploded! I love that damn song anyway. What happened to her during the first song? ...I came in when Paula was trying to smooth things out ..... It was nippy last night so that may have had some influence , because Anthony's "If You Don't Know Me..." also had a similar effect on me. Thought it was excellent , very strong phrasing. ... Unlike Simon I really liked his "soulless" presentation of that song .. the way he belted it out, made it less wimpy. His version blew Carrie's out of the water . ( I 've wondered why they don't have them all sing the same song one night ... guess it might wear thin , but I think it'd be interesting to compare each rendition) . Anthony's first song "I'm Already There " .... it's such a contrived song ...didn't even want to hear it ... left the room on that one . Bo did really well ... only saw his "For The Love Of Money" but he did it well. He sort of has the lower range , raspy O'Jay sound in his voice. He was all over the stage. His being thirty years old and having already been performing for ten years does give him a slight advantage...... Opposite of that is Carrie. She'll be a succesful country singer . She'll have a style like Loretta Lynn or Tammy Wynette....find her mark on the stage.... stand there ..and sing .. .She is great to look at. Bo's the winner ... but I want Vonzell's CD ......OUT: Carrie. *****

For some reason I was too tired after watching the show... I usually play it 2 or 3 times just to give my in depth review of the performances. :P  At this point in the competition we basically have 4 of my favorites left standing. :( I really like all of them that are left.... so it's gonna get so emotional from here on out. Carrie Underwood: Her first song... was pretty much right on... she came out of her little shell and actually moved around. Second song could have mixed opinions... I loved it, but also knew that it was a mess. She has absolutely no soul running thru her veins which is sad. She needs a little reality check in the bottom 2 tonight. **** 1st song ** 2nd song Bo Bice: Has stepped up his game and has picked great songs to showcase his vocal talent that is fresh. He nailed his first performance even though it wasn't very challenging. 2nd song I was scared for him but his version of the O'jays For The Love Of Money was semi enjoyable. ***1/2 1st song *** 2nd Song Vonzell Solomon: Her version of How Do I Live was ok but felt like it wasn't her best performance... She was all over the place pitch wise... I hope to god she hasn't peaked. 2nd performance was much better... I can't believe we don't have more members watching the show. They missed a real treat last night. **1/2 1st Song **** 2nd Song Anthony Fedorov: What can I say... but our little Anthony has a solid night across the board. He doesn't have the best voice out of the bunch but he picked songs that he could sing. I wish he had a little more soul or as much r&b influence as Simply Red does. ***1/2 1st Song ***1/2 2nd Song I'm not gonna predict tonight.... I'm gonna be too sad... regardless :(

Anthony aka "The Hole" went home last night. I'm sure some record company will scoop him up. I think next week will be Vonzell's week to go.
