I would have to agree.... however, almost all of them sounded awful. Lindsay's rendition of Knock On Wood was not the Eddie Floyd version.... It was a bad Karaoke version of Ami Stewart. my my my! yuk!

Vonzel did the best I think.

Vonzell is the most complete star package... including great voice .... Anwar 's good too.... but maybe a makeover ...Scott most impressed me... Lindsey should go 1st ..and Anthony as well... btw ...his "Breaking Up...." was the slow re-do Neil Sedaka did in the mid seventies ... not the upbeat original of the sixties ... which was supposed to be the night's theme ..just like "knock On Wood" performed as disco..... It is amazing ten years of music that included the Beatles, Phil Spector, Otis Redding, Dionne Warwick, Roy Orbison, Herman's Hermits .... to choose from .... and that's what they come up with .................................................. ............................................... I wonder what Mario would've performed ...........

way too much catalog to choose from... I was affended with Lindsey singing Ami Stewart version... who do they think they are fooling?

Not surprised at all on who should've been tossed.

The latest on Mario Vasquez is that he hired Clay Aiken's lawyer.

Clay apparently hired a lawyer a while back so he could break his contract with the management company that runs American Idol.

I can see this turning out to be a problem. The show definitely gives these contestants exposure to the public thus getting a possible recording contract.

Wow... great performances by many of the idols especially Carrie Underwood belting out a classic song from Heart. That is definitely my favorite vocal this season. I think I'm gonna buy a POWER BALLADS CD from the 80's. :lol:

It's gonna be really sad to see Mikalah go... :( She gave me my wish and just butchered the song. oh brother... :-?

The judges were so enamoured at the prospect of unleashing to the world the next Streisand/Midler incarnate that they forgot to notice one little thing --- she can't sing.

Mikalah the singer just didn't work out for her... It's too bad... she had all the other qualities going for her...


personality/good looks/attitude/entertaining, etc. etc.


go get singing lessons! :)
