The two hour show is just a way to get more advertising $$ I would think. They'll drag it out and recap the previous weeks until 9:58 when they announce the winner.

I was a little surprised by the results. I think Simon knew who the winner was before Ryan announced it.

I'm sure they'll both do well.

Last night at 7:00pm I called my sister's house in Minneapolis. My teenage niece answered the phone and exclaimed breathlessly..."Carrie WON!!

First off, I wasn't even thinking of American Idol's Carrie--what popped into my head was John Kerry!!! :P :oops: :roll: :evil:

Knowing hell hadn't really frozen over--I was listening to Air America after all and surely, they woulda mentioned this!!! :lol:

But I sure expected Bo to be the winner based on Tuesday's performances...I wonder if "votefortheworst" swayed the vote?

Now I liked Carrie...the first time I watched the show this season, I singled her out in the post I wrote here...but it sure seemed that they were pushing Bo to win, didn't it?

Everyone thought Bo would win because we thought he and Paula were having an affair. Maybe she was having an affair with Carrie. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

......I missed the first part ......please don't tell me that Bo actually sang "Vehicle " again (why?) ... good thing I missed that .... I absolutetly would have turned the show off right then.. .....ten bucks says its on the first CD .....maybe the CD will even be called "BO Knows ... 70's Dance Muisc" ... his first single too perhaps ?

Of what I saw ..... Vonzell stole the show when she reminded everyone that she's the one that can reallllly sing , when setting atop the grand piano she did that nice rendition of "With You I'm Born Again" with Billy Preston .... good eye contact with Billy too ... I'm sensing an actress here .....
Weakest return .... was Constantine .
Carrie is pleasing to look at 'cept those big lower legs ... on up though ... very nice face & terrific smile ..and she's OK vocally ..something a little piercing in her higher notes .. but OK overall.
Bo's "Sweet Home Alabama " was dead on for him ..that song about midway on just kind of hangs there though ....

The best moment of the night , besides Vonzell , was the David Hasselhoff set up ..that was classic .. I even called a buddy right off and when he answered the phone laughing ....I knew he'd been watching the same thing too ..... :P

As far as Carrie winning ..at first I thought this confirmed the voting to be real. They really hyped up Bo to win . But then as I thought about it further ..it really doesn't matter which one actually wins ... at that stage of the comp ..they've both made it career wise . So it would be in the interest of the show ..in order to create more buzz and elevate interest in the show and its future ... to bait and switch ..... set it up to favor Bo ..then "shock" everyone with a Carrie win .... ..... who knows ..in this day and age ... and on FOX ..... ???? ....... :P :roll:
