Default Question about Al Pacino's "Cruising"

On another site it mentioned that there were some hardcore sexually explicit scenes in this movie. I saw the movie several years ago and don't recall these, can anyone confirm?

According to an article in the British Films and Filming magazine by Mark Kermode, the director shot some of the dungeons scenes with extras performing non-simulated sex acts. To obtain an R rating in the United States, these bits were edited out prior to realese. The prints sent to Europe did not contain any h/c either. Rumours persist of a deleted, anatomically questionable special effects sequence during which a bulge is seen appearing on the naked stomach of a man being fisted...
Maybe a director's cut dvd will provide the answers and the bulge in the future.
