Periodically, I like to ask if others have seen movies that I haven't seen, but have an interest in seeing. Is this movie worth watching? It has several notable actors, but it's also over two hours long which makes me wonder if it drags. Your feedback is requested.

If it's the one with Karen Black and Burgess Meredith, it's definitely worth seeing. The original novel -by Nathanael West- is also very good. Take notice, though, that it's Seventies Hollywood Cinema -long scenes, slow speed, much ambience... All the things George Lucas helped to destroy with "Star Wars" :)

I watched the movie over the weekend and it was just as I expected, draggy. The only excitement was the last ten minutes of the movie when there was a riot at a movie premiere. The filmakers did a great job of recreating 1930's Hollywood. One of the characters in the film was named Homer Simpson. :D
