Btw, what's with these gift baskets that the stars get when they present on an award show? I'm sure a star who earns millions of dollars doesn't need another cell phone or bottle of perfume. I think they can afford to buy their own. :roll:

About the gifts thing, you know... the more money you get, the less you're allowed to spend (invitations to parties, free bills at restaurants, gifts, etc.)

Yep-they never have enough. When the programming of the winterseason on Belgian television was announced, all the "big (?)" stars got a Minicooper convertible. It's good publicity since those companies are hoping that the stars use their products in public.

And yep-Paris Hilton never meant anything to me. She is not a beautiful girl and she is spoiled and has much more money than talent.

Hollywood celebrities of a certain stature get EVERYTHING FOR FREE !!!! They pay for nothing. The HBO show ""Entourage" humorously showed the way they finagled "freebies" by letting business guys use their "names" to SELL shit to the less famous. The guys on the show got their home-theatre system installed for FREE in exchange for the installer to use their NAME in his promotions. (I installed Brad Pitt's home-theatre"!!!!)

I've heard tell that Miss Tori Spelling (heiress to the fortune of daddy Aron Spelling) once stood for over an hour in line at a club that was giving away FREE CELLPHONES!!! Well she probably had her assistant stand in line until she was next. Yeah, like she couldn't afford one. HEY, it's FREE!!! (You'd think theyd be embarrassed...but NO.)

Bottomline, they LOVES the FREE GIFTBAGS!!!!!! And award shows now have to try to outdo each other with BETTER BAGS, lest they be sneered upon as soooo "D-list".

I don't see what's the big fuzz and deal with The Hilton Sisters! I mean they're scandalous alright but they're not pretty or classy imo.

I mean there are other heiresses on this world who are richer than them, have better looks, and more class.

Well Athina Onassis...she ain't very pretty but at least she's not very scandalous...only scandal I think...dating a 30 yr old guy who has a daughter...
