Default anyone heard of (or seen) the 1998 film

"That's the Way I Like It"? Description: "This genial homage to white suits, disco dancing and 'Saturday Night Fever' revolves around a young Singapore store clerk. It's 1977 and the disco craze has stung the city so he enters a dance contest with hopes of winning..." I'm just now hearing about this film, has anyone checked it out? Opinions?

Do you mean ''Forever Fever'' ?

Forever Fever (1998)

I saw the film, and bought the DVD and soundtack CD. Not as good as Saturday Night Fever, but it was interesting to know the disco scene in Singapore. Pretty enjoyable.

well, I'm confused because the title of the film which recently was shown on HBO (but I missed it) was indeed "That's the Way I Like It". "Forever Fever" wasn't listed. What mystified me was that 1998 was listed as the release date but I don't ever remember seeing it broadcast until now, 10 years later.

This film was first called Forever Fever when it did the international festival circuit. When stuff like 54 came out it was renamed That's The Way I Like It to cash in on the revival. The F.F/T.T.W.I.L.I is indefinitely better than 54 though, no competition. The final dance competition sequence has genuine flair and captures the feel of Boogie Motion quite brilliantly. Belongs to the collection of every member of our Sect.
