Don't misunderstand me..the backlash against Ms. Cole is not by her fans..On the contrary, we are all trying very hard to defend her..The folks who are posting things on her board (and elsewhere), are fans of Ms. Winehouse. Rabid fans, at that!

I also agree with your statements whole heartedly..I do think however, a bit of diplomacy was needed. Having been through much of what both she and Ms. Winehouse have been through, I too, have little patience for destructive behavior. Choosing where and when to say what needs to be said, is the only thing I wish was done differently..

Natalie seems to be taking a "tough love" stance---the way AA members do. No "poor Amy" or "maybe she'll get herself together someday"--BUT rather-- Amy, you are a mess--get your act together--help is there for you.

She is most definitely taking a tough stance on the issue. According to someone on her website, she is not going to make a comment or issue an apology..Good for her! Sticking to her guns,as they say..
