| I don't need to tell you guys its hard to make money as a working musician so let me cut to the chase. If your really serious about being a musician it makes sense to get yourself represented by a performing rights organization. Usually the names you hear thrown around are BMI and ASCAP but SESAC a smaller more boutique performing rights org is the way to go. They give you special attention as well as help you out with tour and living expenses.
