Well, HustleBaby, I have never heard any dirt about David Hasslehoff (except regarding his acting ability or lack thereof), but Eddie's love for the tranny/crossdresser/chicks-with-dicks crowd is fairly well known. Does this make him gay/closeted/bi? I guess as long as he and his wife keep flaunting new babies (what--5 now?), Hollywood and the general public will stay in denial too.

Well, kids...let's see what I heard over the weekend...



Looks like Harrison Ford is still in the midst of his middle-aged crisis, squiring the much younger leading ladies around town. He's no longer Driving Miss Minnie, but I hear he's positively smitten with Hollywood's poster child for anorexia, Miss Calista Flockhart. The two met at The Golden Globes and, as of yesterday, are still seeing each other. But "will he still love her tomorrow?" you ask. Who knows?... but it's probably "just one of those things".



Seen dining at Dan Tana's restaurant over the weekend...a gorgeous Angelina Jolie with 2 men, neither of whom were Billy Bob (not to worry...they weren't as cute as BB, if you get my drift...we're talkin' piggo industry types) and an ultra scuzzy Leo (is it my breath?) DiCaprio, looking as if heroin chic were back in style. Is It? Leo was alone at the bar; later a female joined him.



Also, in the celebrity meltdown arena...I heard a tall tale regarding that disturbed former "Angel", Miss Farrah Fawcett. A friend told me that at a Hollywood garden party a couple years ago. Miss Farrah was observed, and I quote my source, "making doody" on the lawn of the party's hosts. I know no more details, but I am assured by my friend that it is true. I shall have to ask a few more questions on that one.



That reminds me of another celebrity shoplifter, Miss Winona. Apparently, the big stores in Bev Hills have arrangements with the business managers of certain light-fingered heavy hitters who get kicks from stealing from trendy shops. The stores agree to look the other way and simply bill the biz managers for the items taken. Now, I hear that Miss Winona somehow exceeded the patience of Nieman Marcus (oops, I meant Saks) in these matters, so they decided to go after her, not just send a bill for the damage done. We shall see.



In regards to David Hasselhoff, the day before Valentine's Day, he was spotted with a woman (he's definitely hetero) shopping for Valentine's gifts at Aaahs! on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks. A "fan" spotted him and David announced in his loudest voice, so that anyone who wasn't aware of his presence surely was now, that "I'm only David Hasselhoff". Yeah, we know, AS IF we care. The former Baywatch star has gone to Pork City; shades of Ryan O'Neal...



And as for Eddie ( They Call It Tranny Fever) Murphy...I only know what the police reports say...shopping for newspapers & magazines at 4:00am on Santa Monica Blvd., when the wife's outta town...giving VERY TALL "ladies" with Adam's Apples RIDES home...the whole Good Samaritan looking for a blowjob story....and keeping the model gorgeous wife pregnant, of course.

The National Enquirer has a headline emblazoned across the top of their current issue that states, something to the effect, "Diana Ross in Complete Mental Breakdown" or something in that vein. Of course, I HAD to buy that one! Well, who knows what the truth is, but...the story says Miss Ross spent some time in the psychiatric ward of Century City hospital here in LA, sometime in December, unable to functionally deal with life's complexities. The story says Miss Ross is devastated by: 1) her husband Arne Naess, tired of her living in the U.S. while he lives in Norway, divorcing her, 2) the steady dimming of superstardom, and 3)she feels unfairly maligned for the failure of her Supremes reunion tour. Now, she may have had a mole removed...who knows?...but this is what they printed.



Oh, and I hear the James Bond producers are demanding that the new Austin Powers film remove the "Gold Member" from it's title, due to it's similarity to "Goldfinger". Damn, I was hoping for a Shirley Bassey title tune. Ironically, Madonna who did "Beautiful Stranger" for the last Austin Powers film is now set to sing the title tune for the currently-filming James Bond flick with Pierce Brosnan & Halle Berry.

OK guys, I've been reading and laughing for the last three days. Regarding some things said:

1) Tobey Maguire is the worst film actor of the last decade. And the most overrated by far. Remember the movie he did with Michael "I want another Oscar so I will re-send my movie to theaters" Douglas? BLEEECHHHH! for Toby and the movie. And many more movies of his.

2) About the crazy italian actress daughter of italian horror film director (page 1 or 2), I'm pretty sure it's Asia Argento, daughter of film director Dario Argento. Good director, pretty gal.

3)About Mariah Carey. Right after she divorced Tommy Mottola, she appeared at Oscar night with mexican singer Luis Miguel, and stayed (????) with him til he dumped her and then came her nervous breakdown... Well, let me tell you this guy Luis Miguel is well known in Latin America, and everyone in the biz say he's gay. You know the type who goes out with very fleshy starlets and lets people photograph him so they don't think...? Before Mariah, Luismi had done the same Oscar night trick with then MTV Latino presenter Daisy Fuentes! Has been linked also with Salma Hayek and such, but I'm sure it's all mascarade. Do you know any dirt about this guy? In Latin America he's Ricky Martin's worst enemy (but failed to crossover to USA, like Ricky did).

4) Tell me more about Macy Gray! Is she really that bad on smack? Didn't hear anything down here.

This happened to me a while back when I was trying to respond to a post by Graham on turntables. I lost about 8-10 paragraphs of text and just gave up.



Now this just happened again to me a few minutes ago when I tried to respond to Nicky's posting on playing "Supernature" backwards.



Not sure, but I think that we take too long while writing that the "cookie" expires on us and bam-it's gone. I need to get into the habit of copying all of my response before submitting so I can repaste it if needed. Sorry about that bro, but it's a bug that I can't squash.
