It's been centuries since I hadn't posted anything. Glad to be back, though, especially with all these changes.
Going back to Almodovar, his genius is widely recognized. However, I still miss the days when he was starting with dark films such as "Pepi, Luci Bon y unas chicas del monton", brings me back to my college days.

I liked a lot "La flor de mi secreto" and "Carne trÈmula" but became very dissapointed with "Todo sobre mi madre" (All about my mother). Ridiculous plot, bad acting (specially from our Cecilia Roth) and attempts at "political correctness" that made me cringe... Worst of all, the movie won an Oscar! Now many people will think it's his best, when the truth is probably the opposite.
Given all that, I'm not so tempted to see "Hable con ella", which is released today in Argentina. BTW, Dario Grandinetti is also from this country.

About AlmodÛvar I prefer "Ata-me!", in this case a woman is a woman, it's more confortable :D .

In "Talk With Her" Rosario Flores is a Spanish bullfighter woman, he kills five bulls in a day :o and she clothes the color clothing of the bullfighter men. She lost a bull-fight and she gets in a depper coma.

Rosario Flores looks like the aliens killer Sigourney Weaver. Ripley, and she also looks like Umma Thurman, she gets is coma for five years in the new Tarantino's film :P .
