Waaaaah. I missed Salma today. I got caught up last night and forgot to set the vcr :sad:
OK, i remembered I have a membership to Wherehouse Video and promptly went out and rented the "From Dusk Till Dawn" dvd. Because Wherehouse also sells porn , I trust I will not get Salma edited. I'll comment on the movie when I'm through.

BTW does anyone remember Salma's character in 54. She was Anita and remember at the end of the movie when Studio 54 was closed on New Year's Eve (in the movie) she sings on stage. What is the name of the song she sang?

OK, I just got through watching "From Dusk Till Dawn." GOD.....DAMN she's fine. Oh Salma, I'd drink a tub o' yo bath water. Now my gay friends, come clean to uncle paul. If you saw her in this movie, you gave more than a passing thought to being "straight" didn't you. Com'n, you can tell me in secret back in that closet

Salma was on Letterman last night...she was a decent guest...BUT she was sorta covered up in a black pants suit. She showed that same film clip from "Frida" where she drinks more liquor than the guys and wins a chance to "tango" with Ashley Judd.

The movie has gotten mixed reviews--some raves, some mediocre, some pans...most of the acting praise has gone to Salma's co-star Alfred Molina who plays Diego Rivera. Salma has been praised by Ebert & Roeper as showing more range than previously evident and dismissed as by others as shallow and not nearly gritty enough. The film's visual style has been praised almost universally, however,

Anyone seen the film?
