Anybody been anywhere interesting for their vacation??

There seems to be a lot of talk about less posting on the Board recently. Perhaps you have all been away to exotic locations on your well-deserved summer break! :grin: Give the fingers a rest from the keyboard, at least!! :lol:

So where have you all been for your vacation?? The Seychelles? Barbados? Bangkok? Rio?? Maybe...even...er... England?? :razz:

As for me, this is the first summer in years where I am NOT :sad: :sad: taking a break. Coz' I'm having work on the house done...2 new bathrooms!!

But I plan to take a break in the autumn (fall = US) - On the list at present: visiting the pyramids in Egypt (take my Jones Girls LP!! :grin:) or visiting Polish friends and family in Chicago, maybe???

JAZZ: I'll be having a fall vacation too. Going to Costa Almeria/Tropical/Del Sol to check out properties. It won't be relaxing but it may be intersting.

Just get me away from being in hospitals....visiting hospitals....going to funerals....and this heat!!!

Maybe 9/11/02 life will have come full circle once again and we can all breathe....

I wasn't here in these forums when they first started shortly after 9/11, but having been in the WTC mess myself, I wish I had known that there was a place like this - which I consider a refuge from the outside world....Thanks Bernie and everybody.

I'm on vacation right now, but I can't afford to go anywhere :sad:

So, I'm doing some hardcore housecleaning, urban exploring, various audio projects, and some relaxed socialization.

It's been a hot, hot, boring summer but at least my air conditioners didn't breakdown. My property looks like hell. Everything is dying and Jersey has water restrictions in place. Both my collies have developed some kind of skin rash and require constant bathing and putting on of ointments. Gee --- I'm haveing fun!

Anyway, we have two friends who are right now vacationing in Italy. I will have to live vicariously when they get home.
