| Paul's description is very good...imagine popping and locking as the precursor to "uprock" breakdancing. It was a West Coast phenomena that made its way east. A fellow named Don Campbell created the Lockers with the membership including Fred Berry and Adolfo Quinones. Toni Basil took over as choreographer and got them a great deal of exposure: they even appear as rotoscoped animated figures in Ralph Bakshi's HEAVY TRAFFIC.
