| I should add the Planet of The Apes series (I can't wait to get that big box they just released for the collective Apes films and TV series). And Doctor Who! I'm a total Who-head. I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Davison years ago in person, and was totally starstruck, even though I had met many other celebrities before him. Damn that guy was tall (6 feet?), but he was really cool. My favorite Doctors were Pertwee and T Baker as well. I prefer the early Baker stuff, with Sara Jane Smith. Disco Funk |

Now, Dr. Who did make it to our screens (even the newest series is broadcasted) but I remember it wasn't that popular, my friends all preferred the American SF, like Star Trek and what was that series again with a submarine, called "Seaview"?????? |

| I never watched TeeVee during the '70s. I was working 9-10 hours a day and attending night college 2-3 nights a week. So... I didn't have much free time and when faced with making the choice of watching TeeVee or boozing, smoking weed, getting laid and Disco. I always chose boozing, smoking weed, getting laid and Disco... 8) |

| In no particular order: 1) Caribe - Stacy Keach cop show which Miami Vice ripped off a few years later. 2) The Great American Dream Machine - PBS anthology 3) Charlie's Angels - for the superior writing and the mise-en-scene :-o 4) The Who, What Or Where Game - a rather difficult NBC game show hosted by Art James that ran after Jeopardy in the NYC area. 5)Petrocelli 6) Kolchak The Night Stalker - Fred "Prink Rady and Jeff" Silverman didn't like horror shows, so he scheduled KTNS against Sanford and Son to kill it. 7)SWAT 8)Dallas 9)A Man Called Sloane - Ji-Tu Cumbaka's character was rather interesting, but never developed. 10) Barnaby Jones - for the "Barnaby Does The Hustle" episode alone....:-o

| I just watched Starsky and Hutch's first episode of the fourth season and it was all Disco! Most of the scenes were in a club, called "Fever" (probably in a studio) and the killer's apartment had a dancefloor and silver glitter-curtains :-) Songs that I heard: "Macho Man", "Disco Inferno", "Love To Love You Baby" and others. Not bad at all :-) |

| I'm afraid puberty destroyed my memories of the 70s. By the way, why is it that some tv shows are released on DVD and others are not? And why do DVDs of tv shows cost 3 times as much as DVDs of movies? I was in the Wherehouse the other day and couldn't believe they expect anyone to pay almost $50 for DVDs of "Cheers" or "Seinfeld" when you can easily tape them for free. |

| Interesting trivia Boodi. I always thought he was just some guy that got his start with Breakin' I'm guessing that episode aired around 1981.

| Hey Paul! Shabba Doo had been around for a bit, as a Locker with Toni Basil and Fred Berry. He also appeared (as a Locker) on an episode of "What's Happening?". That "Starsky and Hutch" episode would have been aired in early '78, roughly.

| Thank you Goddess :-D Buckaroo, Boodi will do a better job explaining Locker but I'll give a quick description. They were a popular dance group in the mid 70s who's popular dances involved several members of the group in locked rhythmic moves as well as doing the "robot", a popular dance at the time.
