| Eek! I just checked the 'net and you were right, Marky. (Now if it had been a show biz thing, I NEVER would have questioned your info!) Potential for fuel pump leaks; no problems reported so far, but they're taking precautions. Your client might get that job yet. And Bob already knew. He never tells me anything.

| Finally some validation for my liking the "Anna Nicole Show": Entertainment Weekly: "Outrageous? YES. Courageous? Kind of. Contagious? 'Fraid so. The "come inside my wacky go-nuts life!" genre of reality TV just got a little bigger: "The Anna Nicole Show"--a series about everybody's favorite eccentric actress/Playmate/merry widow, Anna Nicole Smith--gave E! it's highest household ratings ever with it's recent debut. (What's the appeal? It's just like "The Osbournes", but with less metal and more slurring.) Seeking to make this guilty pleasure even more guilty, we present...the "Anna Nicole Show" drinking game.... See page 125 of the new EW for the rest. Sorta a CHUG Slug Bug kinda game Now in the Village Voice, my fave dementedly clever queen Michael Musto writes... "The Anna Nicole Show" is riveting viewing, focusing on a self-absorbed, tranquilized inflatable doll of a woman who's everything reality TV should be....." Now Musto also goes on about NYC's Museum of Radio & TV, where he says he's been living lately. One reason--an entertaining outtake compilation called "Behind the Scenes in Hollywod". "Among the more salacious highlights were Eddie Murphy deep-throating a large plastic cup and insult comic Don Rickles pretending singer Steve Lawrence had fisted him and Steve's gold jewelry was coming out of his butt. The golden days indeed!" In my next life, I want to come back looking like Sam Elliott in "Lifeguard" with the writing skills of Michael Musto. I know I could aim higher (David Sedaris??) BUT Musto amuses me so..... _________________ Make My Feet Wanna Dance! Markydefad [ This Message was edited by: markydefad on 2002-08-17 15:21 ] |

| Disco Disk has requested a little Anna Nicole update. Well, episode #3 was the weakest so far. I'll try to recap what I remember. Anna, lawyer Howard, asistant Kim and teen son (can't remember his name) go to an Italian restaurant on Ventura Blvd. in THE VALLEY (apparently she ain't living in the Hills of Beverly). The purpose is to stage a "see who can eat the most contest". Apparently, Anna has won several of these in the past. Quelle Surprise!!!!! They start with cheese pizzas and then proceed to several pasta dishes. We watch as they (mostly Anna) gorge themselves. Mid-way through course #2 or 3, Anna has to go to the bathroom. Kim accompanies her. Howard suspects "shenanigans" (there's that word again Blax!!!), so he and teen son listen outside the bathroom door to hear if Anna is throwing up to make room for the next course. Seriously. I'm not making this up!!!! Anna comes out to see them there and throws a HISSY FIT of the FIRST MAGNITUDE!!!! Swearing and yelling at Howard that he's an asshole cause he supects she's a LIAR!!!! Another course of pasta arrives. Anna is too pissed to push pasta. They get up to leave. Anna continues her tirade on the street, finally telling Howard that she went into the restroom to take a BLEEP!!!! They go home; Anna bitching all the way. Anna & Kim leave the house and go to Sunset to a tattoo parlor where Anna gets some work done on a band of tattoos around one of her ankles. Kim has Anna's signature tattooed under the picture tattoo she has of Anna on her fleshy upper arm. This tattoo is very large. Then Kim wants to have her tongue pierced. Anna disapproves at first; then relents. We watch as the needle is inserted into her tongue. Kim's voiceover says she wants out, but it's too late, baby, now it's too late. Meanwhile back at the abode, Howard is welcoming interior designer Bobby Trendy who's has personally delivered some items for Anna's boudoir. (Anna shopped til she dropped at his store last week). Bobby comments on the "fabulousness' of each item as it is removed from the van. We get a good closeup look at Bobby's badly pock-marked cheeks in the harsh glare of the California sun. Bobby Trendy's never heard of dermabrasion????? Anyway, they unload the stuff. Howard wonders where the rest of the stuff is for the other rooms. Bobby says "next week". That's all I remember. Did anything else happen? Next week there is something scandalous in the promo. BUT I can't remember what? Is it a Lesbian kiss--seems like that was part of it. Oh well...I'll keep you informed. If I missed any pertinent details...feel free to share. _________________ Make My Feet Wanna Dance! | Matt Roush writes in the current TV Guide: "E!'s "Anna Nicole Show" is so horribly awful, so pathetically empty of life or joy or entertainment value, that I'm sure some will watch out of a sense of superiority, thinking it hip or ironic, just another part of the trashy celebrity-circus peep show. Thos who do are enablers of this sad, grotesque creatures's addiction to the camera. Surrounded by a drab retainers (a lawyer, a punk assistant) the has-been Playmate wants to be as "outrageous" as the show's lively cartoon credits promise, but she can barely muster the energy to be vulgar. We should do her and ourselves a favor and just look away." OUCH, Mattie!!!!!! Well, this Sunday E! is repeating the first 4 episodes in an ANNA NICOLE MARATHON and then we go to Vegas the following week for a new episode!!! I missed last week's show--BUT I think I'm still on board. I guess I'm one of those "hip, ironic trashmeister ENABLERS" Mattie is decrying. Go watch "West Wing" Mattie. I prefer "Anna Nicole". Oh and-- fuel for the fire, in a special Daily Variety that came out yesterday devoted to TV drama--TV critics from around the country were asked to vote in several categories. Favorite Drama of all Time, Most overated drama of all time-- were 2 of them. I have to admit "West Wing" made #10 on the "Favorite" list BUT it scored #3 on the MOST OVERRATED list, also!!!!! SO THERE!!!!! Just after "ER" and "Six Feet Under". Favorite Drama show of all time? "The Sopranos", of course. _________________ Make My Feet Wanna Dance! | So where is QUEER AS FOLK and why isn't it being featured in the same categories as SLUTS IN THE CITY or ANNA NICOLE SHIT? I will admit I like trashy shows as much as the next Q.....but this woman should inherit all of her money (which she deserves) and just disappear....what a moron...after that bathroom/tub scene I got nauseaus and never returned....I guess if Ozzie can garner an audience, so can she....I am sure if Frank Zappa and Jerry Garcia were still alive, they would be there with their families too.....Weird Wing gets on my nerves and everyone is so unattractive now that Rob is going and I wish that Martin Sheen would get new dentures....I am waiting for the day they fall out onto the Oval Office Desk...Sopranos should be fun looking at after being mafia-monthless here since early 2001 and when is OZ coming back? When "Oz" and "Queer"...are on, I remain stapled to the couch.....bring back MUST SEE NUDITY !!

| I have recently found out that ANS show was coming to my country. Ofcourse they couldn't just air all that trash television without an excuse. So they are sending it while discussing the decay and pitfalls of modern society. So inorder to celebrate this I went to look for what I would find when searching for ANS on my DL program. And Right there came all the episodes up and including numer 6. SO not wanting or waiting to let the TV channel get ready to air it. I downloaded it all and I must say I found Marky's litterate version almost more amusing then the show itself. Anyways after seeing the first 5episodes All I can say I just hope nobody here has the same taste in decorating a house as she does....... |

Yeah, I guess we have pretty much moved on...since "Curb Your Enthusiasm" came back on HBO--I haven't seen Anna Nicole's show. She did get renewed for another season, however!!!! I am a little curious to see what's happening with the feud between Bobby Trendy (self-described "white woman trapped in the body of a Vietnamese male") and Howard Stern, Anna's geek/leech lawyer!!! And, finally...what country are you from, Sutnop??? I've always wondered. I'm guessing...uh... Belgium??? :???:
