I watched this movie for the first time a few days ago...My favorite scene is when Gail teases the crap outta him makin him bust the door in ...WooHoo go Gail!!

one of my fave Pacino's movies, although it is not without it's weaknesses.

IMO Penepole Ann was badly miss-cast for this part, she makes the best of it though, especially in the scene :P but she's just not believable as the type that would fall for a Puerto Rican drug dealing killer, especially before he went to jail when he was the hood's badest cat. She doesn't even come across as the type that would work at a strip club either, but over all a very good flick.

the part when he's wheeled into the ambulance as he voiced over " I always knew I’ll make a trip to (Romero's ?? )funeral home someday''... The last of the Mohicans..." Powerful scene.

since you said you liked "Lord of the rings" before, did you noticed who's the guy in the wheel chair? Carlito's old friend?

Wow Im amazed you remembered that I liked the Lord Of The Rings... Yeah, I usually notice who's who in the movies (well try to) Everyone is always tellin me to watch Carlitos Way and Scarface. Both great IMO. I've just been recently watching alot of movies and stuff because my kids are finally old enough to just let me watch and I don't have a million and one interruptions. Ha Ha :lol:

The remake of this film SUCKED BIG TIME!!!! I hate it when the remakes give the original no justice!! So behind me is the OG version playing!!! Lady Marmalade is blarring and the bad guys are looking for Carlito and he thinks his guy stole his money!!!
