Sweet ride. I, too, like classic Riviera's. They are sooooo Disco! :D

Videoskooter - try a muscle car!
Like a 454 Chevelle SS, Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda, etc etc.

Johan,

Congrats on the new toy. Since I was a kid I have always loved the Buick Riviera with that rear window. They were so popular in my neck of the woods during the 70s.

A guy just up the road from me has a very beat-up Riviera like that one. I always slow down to take a look. You owe me a ride in that beauty if I ever make it over to Belgium 8)

Enjoy the ride!

Same in Brooklyn back in the 1970s. Buick Electra 225, Monte Carlo SS, and the mother of all 'land yachts' the Cadillac Eldorado. I had a 1974 Chevy Malibu 2-door. Not a monster but powerful enough with a 350 cu. in. (5.7 liter) V8 engine. I removed the Delco AM radio and put in a Pioneer SuperTuner AM/FM/Cassette payer with 2 Jensen Coax speakers. Gas was about $0.65/gallon in 1978. Cheap by today's prices but ony a few years before that it was $0.37/gallon.

That's one slick model. I assume it is 1:43, which is a nice scale to have. One problem... I'm trying to save what little money I have and if I buy that, I'll buy others and then you'll get a nasty phone call from my lady who thought she would be getting a Valentine's Day present!

Going back to your new toy, that along with the Oldsmobile Toronado (till '69) were the last great American cars. Enjoy the new wheels.

Yeah, roses are what I need to get her. Besides 1:18 is too large and I find that 1:43 looks more realistic. I get the feeling Johan that you are trying to get me into trouble...

I will not buy that or any other model...
